“Chase him!” Rebbeca said in a deep voice.
Jamie didn’t say much, and followed Rebbeca to chase Henry away.
Henry’s speed could be said to be as fast as lightning. He put all his foot power into use, which could make him run faster than a car, but Jamie and Rebbeca did not give up chasing after him.
“Not good!”
When passing by a construction area, Jamie suddenly yelled loudly, stopped abruptly, and stretched out his hand to grab Rebbeca’s wrist. He twisted his body halfway and retreated with Rebbeca.
At the same time, crackling gunshots rang like popping beans. And countless bullets aimed at them like a rain curtain. But luckily, before the gunshots, Jamie and Rebbeca had already moved back quickly. So those bullets just dangerously passed by them.
“Damn it! Henry is so cunning. He even arranged gunmen on the escape route in advance!” Rebbeca said angrily.
“Listen to the gunshots. It seems that they are all armed with…” Jamie said gloomily.
The two twisted their bodies flexibly and hid well behind a cover.
Henry had arranged gunmen on his way to run away, and the rifles that they were using were exclusively made in Hechland. This was a bit frightening.
Rebbeca’s facial expression looked very ugly, she seemed to have thought of this too.
Jamie said, “I’m afraid Henry’s real purpose is to kill you, Rebbeca!”
Rebbeca sneered and said, “I’m afraid it’s not Henry who wants to kill me but the one behind him.”
But as for who had ordered Henry to kill her, Rebbeca had no idea.
The existence of Rebbeca had got in the middle of the way, stopping so many people from gaining their interests. Those who claimed to be rich and powerful, all regarded her as a thorn in their flesh.
As soon as Rebbeca poked her head out, there came a series of gunshots. The bullets hit the wall and splashed gravel, and dust was everywhere.
Rebbeca said, “Unfortunately, Henry has run away, or we can definitely keep him stay with us teaming up!”
Jamie replied, “If we team up, there is no master in the world who can take the strong attack So for him, It is the wisest choice to run away.”
“Huh? You were injured? The tendons and vessels were broken, and the bones were also injured. Henry’s Eagle Claw is so powerful indeed!”
Rebbeca’s wounds had been dealt with by squeezing her muscles. As long as a master like her was not instantly killed, or became brain-dead, any part of her body could be recovered.
“It’s okay. Go back and have an operation to connect the tendons, and I will be recovered in a short time. Those wounds are nothing serious,” Rebbeca shook her head and said lightly.
To Rebbeca, such a thing as being injured was just a commonplace, and she really didn’t pay attention to this kind of injury.
Rebbeca said, “It seems to be a trap! It’s not true that Henry came here not to kill Seeney but me. Moreover, he is very cunning, and he even arranged gunmen in advance to ambush me on his way to escape. What’s even more frightening is that all the gunmen are actually using a special kind of rifles. We have to tell Mr. West about this.”
The senior officials of Hechland wanted to get rid of Henry quickly.
After knowing that he had come to Hechland to kill Seeney, they began to set up a trap and sent a group of people headed by Rebbeca to kill him. And some people who were hiding in the dark wanted to kill Rebbeca instead.
What was worse, most of the gunmen arranged on the way were using a special kind of rifles made by War Department. In this way, if Rebbeca was killed on purpose, there would be chaos in War Department. And Thunder, the Great Elder of the War Department, would bear the brunt of it, and his status would inevitably be shaken at that time.
The trap was a good one, but it was a pity that Jamie came to help halfway in perfect time.
