The guardian's sword by Taking Cigarette novel Chapter 1121

Chapter 1121

“Willow, what do you think?”

Sean slowly turned his head and gave Willow a look.

Willow froze momentarily and was about to agree automatically.

After all, they were at an advantage by getting compensation ten times the worth!

However, seeing the look in Sean’s eyes, Willow thought he did not want her to say yes.

“Well…”

Willow pretended to hesitate for half a second.

“Is that all the store’s damage?”

Sean paused and hinted gently.

“There’s more than that.”

Willow instantly recomposed herself and shook her head.

“We only calculated the loss of the store furnishing and products.

“But we can’t ignore other losses.

“Let alone the customers Kyle had scared away today.

“Even the renovation period will affect our business. That’s a loss too.

“The number of products in our store are under strict quantity control with their respective brand, making

the loss more difficult to measure.”

Not an idiot, Willow immediately came to herself and explained logically.

Sean was calm but smug.

Willow knew what was on his mind without speaking it out loud.

Jenson’s expression changed, and his forehead sweated when he heard this.

He comprehended what Willow meant when she said the compensation was too little!

However, Jenson could not find any fault with it. He could only grit his teeth and keep silent.

“Why… why didn’t they say anything beforehand?”

Kyle was furious.

It seemed to him that Sean was seizing the opportunity to blackmail Star Group.

Five million dollars was more than enough to compensate for the store and sales losses.

However, was it not ablatant attempt to rip Jenson off by mentioning other losses after he had agreed to pay five million dollars?

“Young Master Willer, you don’t know what Mr. Lennon is capable of…”

The other middle–aged men shook their heads and sighed.

They seemed to have foreseen Star Group’s doom.

Jenson had been trying to keep a backup plan in River City.

After all, they were a powerful local corporation. Coupled with some of their previous connections, there was nothing wrong with self–defense.

At least they did not have to join Lennon Group and become a part of Lennon Group as other companies

had done.

However, Jenson could never have imagined the chance of survival that he had done everything he could to give himself was crushed by his son.

Jenson could not even blame Sean.

He was avoiding Sean, and Sean had not even looked for him.

Now, they encountered each other. Jenson had to face Sean because Kyle made a mistake.

Therefore, he could only accept his downfall even if he knew Sean was extorting him.

“Mr. Lennon, I need to go back and have a meeting about this first.”

Jenson wiped his forehead and looked at Sean as he spoke with respect.

“Sure, I’m in no hurry.
