“By the way, East World Hotel will have two new shareholders, each holding 20% of our shares. They’re the chief of police, Gabe Wholeton, and the director of the prosecutors’ office, Derrick Crate. But you can rest assured that they won’t get involved in the business like me,” Marsha added.
Cheryl nodded again in understanding. Then Marsha went upstairs with Moana.
The Harris family’s auction had sent over the 30 medical books Marsha had won. They were now sitting in Marsha and Moana’s suite.
After returning to his room, Marsha sat on the sofa and carefully read the 30 medical books.
These 30 medical books were indeed written by Dr. Humphrey as the texts were filled with bits and pieces of Dr. Humphrey’s extensive medical practice. Thirty books were the true portrayal of Dr. Humphrey’s medical career and the concentration of his experience and knowledge.
Marsha lost track of time as he read, and it was already 1 am. at some point.
“Time to rest, Commander,” Moana came over and said.
“What time is it?” Marsha asked.
“It’s 1 am…” Moana replied helplessly.
It was only 10 pm, when they went upstairs, and Marsha had been reading for more than three hours, which left Moana speechless.
“What great books. Spending ten million to buy them is worth every penny!” Marsha patted the book in his hand and said with some excitement.
“Commander, all that matters is that you enjoy them.” Moana felt even more speechless upon hearing that.
Marsha got up from the couch and drank a glass of water before going to the bathroom to shower and get ready to rest.

Marsha asked Cheryl to bring over a copy machine and make copies while chatting with Sherman.
“Why is the Yale family interested in these 30 medical books?” Marsha asked.
Marsha competed with her, and she got so upset that she even yelled at Marsha, which could not help but make Marsha find it strange.
