The Heiress Nobody Saw Coming (Natalie and Marcus) novel Chapter 651

At 3:00 pm sharp, Marcus and Natalie rode in their wedding car to the hotel.

The wedding venue looked even more beautiful than before. Every detail had been carefully checked by Charlotte and the coordinator.

A long red carpet stretched from the entrance of the banquet hall to the stage.

Natalie wore a stunning, form-fitting wedding dress and walked slowly toward the stage, holding William's arm.

Dressed in a black suit with a red tie and a boutonnière pinned to his chest, Marcus watched her approach. Under the soft glow of the lights, Natalie's exquisite gown shimmered like a river of stars.

She looked radiant, like a fairy-tale bride coming to life.

William led Natalie to Marcus, and the ceremony began smoothly as the host's voice echoed through the hall.

Meanwhile, in international waters where no country had control of, a ship slowly moved across the sea. In one of the rooms on the ship, a large screen was mounted on the wall.

Sheldon sat on the couch, while Cassie lay at his feet. Both of them were watching Marcus and Natalie's wedding live on the screen.

"Cassie, do you see that? Mr. Marcus and Mrs. Natalie's wedding is going perfectly," Sheldon said as he took a sip from a thermal cup.

"Wesley and Laura have made up. Marcus and Natalie even served them tea and now call them Mom and Dad. Wesley and Laura will probably get remarried soon. After so many years of being together, they won't throw it away just because of you."

Sheldon chuckled softly. "You spent all that time scheming, and in the end, you got nothing. Let me think… How long has it been since you last ate? Oh, and by the way, I had someone prepare something far stronger than the one you gave Laura. They say it's a hundred times more potent."

He looked down at her, smiling cruelly. "Your hands and legs are already crippled. If you manage to jump, then good for you. I won't stop you from killing yourself. Cassie, are you ready?"

Sheldon clapped his hands, and someone brought in a box. Inside was a syringe and a small black vial.

After drawing the liquid into the syringe, Sheldon knelt in front of Cassie and injected it into her neck.

"This is called Vigrax," he said with a grin. "You can enjoy its effects while watching Marcus and Natalie's wedding."

He leaned in and whispered, "You saw all the gifts the Walker family gave her, didn't you? Besides William and Charlotte, even Natalie's brothers gave her lavish presents.

"You used to look down on Laura, calling her an orphan who wasn't good enough for Marcus. When she married Wesley, she didn't bring anything with her. Mr. Holden Senior and Wesley gave her a generous amount of money, but she donated all of it to an orphanage."

He paused and continued, "You said she was greedy and loved money, and that Wesley must have been blind to marry an orphan instead of a rich heiress. But what you really meant was—why did he choose her over you, right?"

Cassie stared at the screen. The wedding was still going on. Just like Sheldon said, even though both families had removed many unnecessary traditions, the wedding was still incredibly grand.

The Holden family had originally planned to send a helicopter to pick up the bride, but Natalie refused that idea.

She removed some costly parts of the ceremony and asked them to donate that money to an orphanage instead.
