The disappointment was clear on Sylvia's face, but she still tried to calm down. Arthur's only hope remained. She wanted to fulfill the dream she had been planning for the last few years and even sacrificed everything. Therefore, she really depended on that night's program.

Sylvia felt shocked and cautious when Patrick, for some reason, suddenly walked onto the stage. "What is that guy doing?" she muttered. "He even pressed the red button for me. What did he come here for? Did he think I would be seduced with just that stupid offer?"

Sylvia took a deep breath, her presentation having been delayed, and she glared at Patrick with a look of disgust. Although Sylvia was unaware of Patrick's true identity, for some inexplicable reason she harbored a deep animosity towards him. What wrong had he done to incur her wrath? "He looks like a heartless mafia boss," she thought to herself.
