The Kiss that Sparked it All (Ellinor and Theo) novel Chapter 2410

Leo's assistant was rifling through documents with a look of disbelief. "What's with people online these days? Look at this—this statement is full of holes. How can anyone believe someone like this?"

They chuckled at the awkward transformation of Seren from an average Joe to a high-profile influencer. It was so clumsy, it became comical.

Why would anyone take such childish statements seriously?

Leo shook his head. "Whether Seren is an insider or not doesn’t matter. What matters is the nature of her comments! They strike at the heart of the public's morbid curiosity. Remember the little scandal Ms. Dunhill's crew had a while back? They managed to clear it up, but some people thought the clarification was bogus. But come on, when the police are involved and footage is released, how could it be a lie? That's when the seed of doubt was planted. They probably think Ms. Dunhill has some kind of immense power behind her. So, when Seren speaks, despite her comments being a bit daft, it rings true to them. People hate being lied to, yet they're always being led by the nose by manipulators."

The assistant was still puzzled. Surely a reasonable person wouldn't fall for such theatrics in an online post?

Leo just smiled. "The more holes in her story, the easier our case. Get those documents sorted. Alyssa isn't the most patient client. We need to wrap this up for Ms. Dunhill pronto."

"Got it."

After Balfour left, Mara finally stirred from her slumber.

Even in her state, Balfour refused to believe Ivy had done her wrong. It was infuriating!
