The Kiss that Sparked it All (Ellinor and Theo) novel Chapter 2798

The hostess continued, "Money, they say, can't follow you from the cradle to the grave. It truly belongs to you only when you've spent it. Rest assured, our service will never disappoint."

With such assurance from her, Regina had little choice but to agree.

"Fine, but let me warn you—if your service is subpar, I'll be filing a complaint. I can't let my dear husband throw his money away for nothing."

Regina's voice was sugary sweet, but even with her stunning looks, it was a bit much to stomach.

"Don't worry, miss. Your satisfaction is a given. A118, we have guests, A118, we have guests."

All Regina heard was the woman repeating herself into the walkie-talkie, then a man in black stepped forward to take over her duties.

"Please, follow me."

Regina muttered just loudly enough for the man to hear, "Darling, where on earth is he taking us? It's all twists and turns—I'm getting dizzy."

The man turned with a good-natured smile and explained, "Miss, you've booked our most exclusive suite. To highlight your distinguished status, we reserve the most secluded spots for our VIPs. Just a moment longer, and we'll be there."

Nolan subtly turned his face away from the attendant's view, and the couple exchanged a knowing glance.

Regina was puzzled. They had never been to this part of the establishment before, and the way they were being led deeper made her wonder if they'd be able to leave without a fuss.

Nolan patted the arm hooked through his and mouthed, "Don't worry."

Despite her concerns, Regina felt a bit more at ease knowing she wasn't alone—Nolan was by her side.
