The Kiss that Sparked it All (Ellinor and Theo) novel Chapter 2809

Nolan's brow furrowed as he asked on the phone, "What's up?"

"Just that some paparazzi snapped a photo of you and Dahlia together, and this time no one gave us a heads up. They just blasted it all over the internet. I don't know if you're cool with this..."

How could Nolan possibly be okay with someone posting his picture online, especially with Dahlia?

"I'll handle it when I get back to the office." Hanging up, Nolan hit the gas, speeding towards downtown.

This unexpected leak momentarily pushed his frustration about Regina's constant rejections to the back of his mind.

He understood Regina's past, what made her so fiercely independent. She didn't want to be a burden to anyone.

But did that mean she had to keep shutting him down like she did to her evil stepmother?

...

The moment the executive elevator doors slid open, Lucy was there with the news on her tablet, hustling alongside Nolan as they made their way to his office, briefing him on the story's origins.

"We checked it out, and it was one of the big-shot paparazzi who got the shot of you with Dahlia. Normally, they'd tip us off so we could buy the rights to the photos before they went public. But for some reason, they went rogue this time and posted it just half an hour before you returned, leaving us no time to react."

Nolan took the tablet and scrutinized the article.
