Nolan shook his head earnestly, "Nope, no sweetheart. That was just a friend who got snapped by the paparazzi. It's all a big misunderstanding."

"But... don't you have even a tiny crush on that girl?" Grandma pressed on, her eyes narrowing with suspicion. "Why defend her like that if there's nothing between you?"

Nolan frowned slightly, "She's my friend. It's only natural I'd look out for her, isn't it?"

Grandpa chimed in from the sidelines, "Exactly, that's just being a gentleman."
