Chapter 317 I’m Crazy, but You Can Save Me
In the meantime, Rosie was lying on the bed with a look of extreme boredom on her face. “What’s Mr. Winters up to?” she asked.
“It seems like he’s having an argument with Miss Bailey. I heard that the argument got pretty intense, the maid, who was massaging Rosie’s legs, replied.
“An argument, huh?” Rosie’s eyes lit up upon hearing that Elias and Amanda were having a fight. She sat upright as she asked more about it. “Give me more details. What have they been arguing about?”
“I’m not sure. I heard that the argument first started in Aiden’s room. It was so loud that the maids who were cleaning the corridors could hear their voices,” the maid explained. Rosie could barely contain her laugh-she was very invested in the story. “What else?” she asked.
Upon recognizing how pleased Rosie seemed, the maid continued to tell Rosie about the gossip she had been hearing. They left the room when their fight got too intense-they didn’t want to wake Aiden up. I’m not sure what happened after that. I only heard about this when I went down to get you some porridge carlier, the maid explained.
“They left? Where would they have gone to have the argument?” Rosie muttered. The maid tried to recall what she had heard from the conversation earlier. “I think they went to Mr. Winters’ bedroom,” she replied.
“What?” Rosie let out an astonished cry and her eyes widened in shock. Did they bring the argument to the bedroom? Is that still an argument? Are they just looking for a private spot without Aiden so that they can flirt with one another? All Rosie could think about then were images of Elias and Amanda getting intimate with one another. The more she thought about it, the more emotional she felt. She felt like she was about to lose her mind!
“Argh!” Rosie couldn’t help but let out a loud cry. The maid was stunned by her sudden outburst, and she stumbled backward before she turned and hurried out of the room. Rosie looked like a crazy witch then- the expression on her face was an extremely dark and eerie one.
Rosie couldn’t hold it in any longer! She got out of bed and threw a jacket over her shoulders before she rushed out of the room. No one knew where she was headed off to. The maid had been standing outside the room, but she didn’t have the guts to ask Rosie anything when Rosie stormed out. The maid had no choice but to quietly tag along behind Rosie.
“You’re being so irrational, Elias! You have no right to be Aiden’s father!” Amanda was so furious that she wanted to get physical with the man. If it hadn’t been for the fact that their loud voices might have. disturbed Aiden, Amanda would’ve never allowed the man to drag her out of Aiden’s room. When she came to her senses and scanned her surroundings, she realized that she had ended up in Elias’ room. How did I end up here? I was too angry just now, and I didn’t even realize that this b*stard dragged me back to his own
room.
Elias let out a deep chuckle when he saw the look of fury on Amanda’s face. “What are we to do, then? I’m his biological father.”
“You-!” Amanda was too furious to say anything, yet this only widened the smile on the man’s face. “I think it’d be best if we never fight in front of the boy in the future. It’s a bad influence on him,” Elias
uttered.
“Oh, you don’t say? Why were you so fierce to my son, then? Anyway, Aiden was asleep earlier, so he didn’t

hear anything!” Amanda hissed.
“What if he was just pretending to be asleep?” Elias asked. Amanda was silent for a while after that. Why didn’t I think of this? What if Aiden just pretended to be asleep because he was too scared? Amanda and Elias finally calmed down a little after that, and Amanda ran her fingers through her hair as she tried to compose herself.
“I’ll bring Aiden home after he wakes up, and you and Rosie can stay here,” Amanda said after a while. She was about to turn and walk out of the room when the man held her arm. “Rosie and me? What do you mean?” Elias felt revolted whenever he was associated with Rosie in any way-he felt the same disgust even in the past.
“Let go of me!” Amanda shouted. Elias could tell that she was trying her best to contain her anger, so he let out a smirk as he challenged her. “What if I don’t?”
“I’ll beat you up if you don’t! I’ve been holding my anger in for a long time!” With that said, Amanda held. her arm up and sent a hard slap across the man’s cheek.
Smack!
The crisp and loud sound filled the room. Elias tightened his grip on the woman as he used his other hand. to feel the spot where Amanda had just slapped him. “You’re not too bad. You can even get violent with others now, huh?” he uttered with a chuckle. There was obvious sarcasm in his tone.
Amanda tried her best to pull her arm out of his grip after that, but the man simply wouldn’t let her go. “Let me go! I want to leave!” Amanda started shouting at him once more. Her rage died down a little just now, but she could feel it burning in her chest again. Elias held firmly onto her slim wrist as he knitted his brows a little. It seems like this woman lost some weight again.
Amanda got even angrier when Elias didn’t respond to her. “I’m telling you to let go of me, Elias! I want to go out! I don’t want to be in the same room as you!” All Amanda could think about then was how Elias had been hugging Rosie with a grim look on his face when Amanda first arrived at the estate earlier. The thought of that scene made Amanda nauseous!
However, when Elias saw Amanda parting and closing her attractive lips, he felt a sudden urge to take action. “Ah!” All of a sudden, Amanda felt herself being pulled into the man’s arms. He lowered his head and forced his lips against hers while pressing his other hand against the back of her head to make sure that she wouldn’t pull away. Amanda’s mind went blank for a moment as she widened her eyes in shock. All she noticed was the man’s thick, black eyelashes. What is this b*stard doing? Amanda tried to wriggle her way out of the man’s grip, but the man simply pushed her back until she landed on the large and soft bed behind her.
Their kisses were continuous and passionate, and before Amanda knew what was going on, her jacket had already been stripped off of her and thrown onto the ground. That was the moment she snapped back to her senses. What is going on? How did I end up in bed with this man? Amanda sank her teeth into the man’s lips, only to hear the man let out a painful grunt. She took this chance to push Elias off of her before shouting at him. “You’re such a rude and useless man! How dare you take advantage of me at a time like this? You’re hopeless!” He was just lying when he said that he wouldn’t get involved with me again. I can’t believe he even played it cool when he said all of that.
