Claire’s grandfather had already betrothed her to Charlie in advance before she had graduated from university. After their marriage, she had been working as an invisible person in Wilson Group and so, she really didn't have much life experience besides having seen the sinister nature of the Wilson family.
In her limited social experience, she really couldn’t understand why a person would want to use another identity to befriend others.
If the other party was deliberately trying to harm her, it would naturally be justified if she used a fake identity.
However, in their interactions, Kathleen had not deceived her, and in the end, Kathleen had even done her a huge favor by introducing her to her idol, Kelly.
Kathleen had even gotten her a place in the master class.
Therefore, she really couldn't understand the reason why Kathleen had done this.
Still, the fact that Kathleen had hidden her identity from her still made Claire feel very depressed. This was because she sincerely regarded Kathleen as a good friend, but she never would have thought that in the end, her good friend's identity would be fake
Claire's eyes flushed red as she thought of how she had invested her feelings but did not even know of the other party's true identity.
When Charlie saw that she was depressed, he knew that she must be feeling disappointed and so, he comforted her,' Honey, you don't have to think too much. You can see that she comes from a wealthy family with such a big background, and her family is worth trillions of US dollars.
Surely she was unable to reveal her true identity. Otherwise, there’s no telling how many people might have bad intentions toward her."
Claire sighed lightly and said, "I understand what you're saying, but I still feel as though I've been deceived. You know that I do not have many friends, to begin with, and I really regarded her as a good friend..."
