Dorothy had been forcing herself to stay calm and composed all this while.
Even though she had always done things differently and was quite feminine, what happened today was something that she had never experienced before in her life.
She had seen Merlin’s corpse with her own eyes, she had seen Charlie's aunt die of poisoning, and she had seen the horrific and gruesome scene of the tragic death of many members of her team.
Nevertheless, she had kept bracing herself so that she would not collapse emotionally.
This was because Quinn was still performing, and she was the head of the whole team. She had to be in charge and handle these things well.
However, the moment she saw Quinn, she could not hold back her emotions any longer, and she burst into tears.
Quinn was also taken aback by her behavior, and she quickly asked, "What happened to the VIP area. Brother Charlie was there, so what could have possibly happened?! Dorothy, you've been given the nickname ‘Tough Lady of Eastcliff'! What could have frightened you so much that you're actually crying?!”
Dorothy cried as she said, "You don’t know this, but a wave of gangsters came and killed a lot of people during your performance. Even the Oskian detective, Merlin Lammy, was killed..."
"What?!" Quinn’s eyes widened in shock, and she blurted out, "What’s going on? What about Brother Charlie and his grandparents?!"
Dorothy hurriedly said, "They're all okay, but a woman in the Acker family died of poisoning..."
Dorothy then told Quinn exactly what she knew immediately afterward.
