The Medallion novel Chapter 1390

Without a doubt, the square in front of the Spiritual King Hall suffered the most—all the buildings that surrounded the area had turned into dust upon absorbing such immense impact. As a result, the humans and spiritual race beings fled for their lives and quickly sought shelter somewhere away from the scene. However, many of the humans were unable to bear the tremendous force, causing them to bleed profusely and die instantly.

In fact, even the powerful members of the spiritual race were not able to endure the overpowering force. They spat mouthfuls of blood and turned pale after feeling the impact.

Among these powerful ones were Marcia, Alyssa, the spiritual race beings of the Phoenix Master Clan, and Wood Clan, as well as the high-class spiritual race beings led by the Giants Clan's patriarch. It was without question that no one was safe from the staggering effects of this heavy blow.

Meanwhile, just when the Palace City was about to be completely reduced to ruins, the intertwining lights began to gradually subside and vanish.

Not long after, the two figures fell from the sky and looked like they were out of energy to carry on. Both of them looked unkempt due to being in the center of the explosion's power.

"Damn it! Damn it! Why can't I freaking kill you? I did everything I can!" Alston scowled at Rocky with knitted brows.

However, Rocky only looked at Alston coldly with a poker face.

"I must certainly kill you!" Obviously, Alston was not satisfied with the aftermath. Nonetheless, as soon as his voice trailed off, he threw up a mouthful of blood, which dropped directly to the ground.

On the other hand, Alston's body started to transform severely. At that moment, his skin and flesh suddenly began to peel off and burst open as if he was ready to collapse at any given minute.

"As it should. That's the price of having too much power in your hands!" Rocky exclaimed as the entire scene did not surprise him at all. And besides, he was used to it because he had experienced it before. Deep inside, he felt that his soul was like that of a lamp's light that was constantly losing its light. Moreover, he felt that his soul would soon disappear from his body.

"No. This can't be happening! No!" Sure enough, Alston had no idea that he could not bear the power that Wraith King Sebastian possessed while being in his body. With that being said, the dynamic was that the more power he used, the faster his body would collapse. And as of the moment, his body was on the verge of collapsing because he could not take the power in his body anymore.

Obviously, Wraith King Sebastian did not mention this matter to Alston. That was because the king believed that Alston was only his tentative body, and he could leave him any time he pleased.

"Alston, it's not too late for you to correct whatever you did wrong. If you are willing to seal Wraith King Sebastian with your body, then that means that you can also atone for all the crimes you have committed! It doesn't have to be so complicated." Rocky sternly locked his eyes towards Alston. If the latter was really willing to give up at that time, then Rocky could also forgive everything he had done to him in the past.

Needless to say, Rocky did this with the intention of sealing Wraith King Sebastian again.

"No way! I'm not doing that! Over my dead body!" Alston yelled furiously.

"Why am I even trying? You seem like a hopeless case." Rocky gave up and kept quiet upon realizing that he was not changing Alston's mind. Since he did not have much time left, he needed to do everything that he could to seal Wraith King Sebastian. After that, he would then have to summon the eight legendary beasts to complete his plan. Once Holy Lord brought the Thunder Master Clan's legendary guardian beast, he would be able to gather the other half of the Divine Spiritual Source and form a complete version of it.

"Don't come near me. Not one step closer! Otherwise, Lena will die!" Alston suddenly threatened Rocky, asking him to take a few steps back.
