"As far as I know, humans and spiritual race beings also exist in that alien land. However, the dominating race in that land is even stronger than the Star Divine Race! I heard that they are called the Shura Race, which, with its unique aptitude, is stronger by a mile than the Star Divine Race," the Holy Lord slowly said.
"Wow! Is it really that powerful? So, does that mean that the Shura Race will soon occupy the Wild Spirit Land?" Rocky inquired.
"Long ago in the ancient times, the Shura Race used their extraordinary strength to ransack the Divine Spiritual Sources of other worlds and loot other creatures. Without a doubt, they are very smart. Apart from making themselves stronger, they also make the other creatures stronger and then destroy them. It was said that they do this in order to maintain their land's balance. They do this repeatedly, whenever they need to. That is quite a clever tactic, I have to admit," the Holy Lord said.
"Now isn't that just so vile?" Rocky said in an angry tone.
"We can't do anything about that. It's the law of the jungle—the survival of the fittest. The Shura Race lives in one of the highest-level worlds. Like the Star Divine Race, the Shura Race was also destined to vanish. Luckily, they found a way on how to avoid their fate in time. On the contrary, the Star Divine Race overestimated themselves at that time and blindly pursued power. They did not take the consequences into consideration. As a result, they ended up destroying themselves in the process. That's why as an outsider, I personally think that the Shura Race is a whole lot smarter than the Star Divine Race," the Holy Lord judged.
"So, if we destroy the special gate, the Shura Race can't invade the Wild Spirit Land. Is that right?" Rocky asked at once.
"I'm afraid it's not possible. You see, this gate is built based on the power of the Divine Spiritual Source in their land. Even the spiritual race in the Wild Spirit Land can't destroy this gate," the Holy Lord replied while shaking his head.
"But, what about me?" Rocky asked out of the blue, raising his eyebrows.
"Well, do you think I will let you do that?" the Holy Lord replied, glancing at Rocky.
"This means, I can do it with my strength!" Rocky exclaimed as he began to realize.
"Well, I guess you can do it if you completely inherit my power. But if you interfere this time, in any manner, I will have to take back the power you got from me," the Holy Lord immediately warned. "You'd better give up. If you don't want to become a Holy Lord so soon, then fine. You can stay in the Divine Land. But you are not allowed to interfere in the affairs of the Wild Spirit Land. Understood?"
After those words, the Holy Lord's image began to disappear gradually.
"Even if I can't meddle with this matter, at least I can tell this news to Marcia and others, just in case they know nothing about it," Rocky murmured to himself. After giving it a thought or two, he immediately disappeared from where he stood.
Meanwhile, Marcia went to the mysterious area to continue with the investigation. However, three days had already passed, and she had not found a single clue. On the other hand, Sabina, who led the investigation team on standby, had a bad and odd feeling all of a sudden. She was well aware that if she continued to stay there and did nothing, they might encounter unprecedented danger. Without any other choice, she had to make up her mind and lead the entire team to retreat. But the minute they did, two figures flew across in the sky. Both of them emitted dark light, giving out strange, evil auras.
"Brother, I've already told you. That woman didn't come alone. It turned out she has many helper hiding here," one of them said maliciously.
"Ha ha, good eye, brother. It looks like this place is crawling with spirit manipulators. If we bring them back, then our trip will surely be worth it!" another one said eagerly.
