At this point, time was an absolute concern, so Rocky immediately performed an operation to stop the bleeding of the beast. On the other hand, when the crowd saw how Rocky opened the belly of the beast using tools that they had never seen before, they were flabbergasted. They couldn't help but twitch their eyes as if they were seeing a bloody slaughter instead.
Although Tessa was also a bit suspicious of Rocky's method, she knew that he might be the only one she could rely on to save her spiritual beast.
As Rocky went on with the operation, four hours passed in a flash. The onlookers were a little tired and anxious but more and more people were actually coming to take a look at the situation. The place was now densely packed with people, who were discussing and having a lot of doubts about the man operating on Tessa's beast.
A moment later, a tall figure suddenly appeared. The moment he noticed who was performing the operation on the injured spiritual beast, he was utterly taken aback. "What is that guy doing here? Why is he the one doing that?!"
It was Ramon, who immediately rushed to the place the second he heard that Nightshade was injured and needed to be treated.
"Miss Tessa, pardon my intrusion, but what is that guy doing to you beast?" Ramon walked up to Tessa and asked with a bewildered expression on his face.
"Oh, Captain Ramon. Do you happen to know him? I actually don't know anything about him, but he said he could heal Nightshade," Tessa said briefly as she glanced at Ramon.
"Well, sort of. But why him? Aren't there beast curers that are more suited for the job?" Ramon asked as he looked at the three beast curers who were anxiously standing on the sidelines. They quickly averted their gazes when they heard that Ramon was asking about them.
"I wouldn't resort to this guy if they can do it themselves. They said that they didn't know how to treat it," Tessa replied with a slight frown as she shook her head.
"What about Dr. Lloyd then? Where is he?" Ramon inquired
"I'm afraid he's not in the city right now. He went out with the governor to take care of some matters," Tessa replied with a sigh.
"But still! How could you let an unknown man attend to your beast? Just look at him! He's just a shabby homeless guy. What if he made its condition even worse?" Ramon said agitatedly out of concern.
"I just told you that there isn't anyone else. Do you want me to just let my beast suffer from its injury and be left untreated? Besides, look! I think he just stopped Nightshade's bleeding!" Tessa narrowed her eyes and hesitated for a moment. But upon closer inspection, it seemed that Rocky had really stopped the bleeding. She was both surprised and delighted at the outcome, and she was glad that she took the risk to let Rocky do the operation.
Even Ramon was dumbfounded as he took a look. The beast was, in fact, no longer bleeding, and Rocky was now beginning to stitch its wound.
At that moment, Rocky had also noticed that Ramon was in the crowd, but he didn't have the chance to greet him since he was still in the middle of a tedious operation.
After the stitches were done, Rocky was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief. Then, he stood up and turned towards Tessa. "I've finished treating the wound, but it has lost too much blood. We still need to perform a blood transfusion as soon as possible. Do you possess other spiritual beasts that are of the same kind as this one?"
"The same kind? Yeah, there is one," Tessa responded after thinking for a while. She answered Rocky's query but was still actually in the dark of what Rocky was up to.
"That's a relief then. Miss, please ask someone to prepare two big bathtubs. I mean the one we used for taking a bath," Rocky specified.
"All right. I'll arrange it right away." Then, Tessa turned to Ramon and said, "Captain Ramon, please take Nightshade's mother to my pavilion and prepare everything that he asked."
"But Miss Tessa, this guy is not from the Sword Spirit City, and his identity is still unknown. I don't think it's a good idea to trust him so much," Ramon advised as he doubted Rocky.
"Captain Ramon, this is a direct order from me. I don't think he's a bad guy, and I'm willing to take responsibility if anything happens. So, hurry up and do as I say. The most important thing right now is to save my beast!" Tessa instructed sternly.
Ramon glanced at Rocky, full of hesitation in his eyes, but he had no choice but to obey for now. Before he left, he strictly ordered several disciples of the Sword Spirit City in the area to protect Tessa closely.
"Do you need anything else?" Tessa asked Rocky with visible elation in her fascinating eyes.
"For now, we'll need to find a suitable place for it to fully heal its wounds, such as a beast farm where the spiritual beast usually lives," Rocky replied as he lightly rubbed his chin.
"A beast farm? If it's a place where it could stay comfortably, Nightshade has its own home," Tessa informed.
"Well, that's better. Just transport it there. However, it is too big. We'll need to find several hands to move it," Rocky said as he glanced at the spiritual beast. He could actually transport the beast through his Magical Spiritual Space, but he didn't plan to expose his real strength, so he had to rely on them.
