"Well, can I refuse to do that?" Rocky asked hesitantly.
"No. If you refuse, the master who came with me will kill you mercilessly. This secret can't be known by others." Eunice's eyes turned cold as she directed them at Rocky.
Then, Rocky's eyes narrowed as he felt a strange aura nearby. It turned out that it was from the guy who was with Eunice. From his judgment, that guy's strength was probably far above his.
"You still want to obtain the information about those prisoners, right? I can help with that if you stay with me. You can learn more about them. It's your choice," Eunice said with a cunning smile.
"Well, I guess I'll do that. Besides, I can't go back to the Sword Spirit Sect right now, and I have nowhere to go." Rocky shrugged with a bitter smile. He originally planned to enter the Sword Spirit Sect in order for him to have a better cultivation environment, but now, he thought that it would be a better choice to go to the Sky-suppressing School. Since Eunice was offering that to him, he wouldn't let the chance slip by. Moreover, he deemed that she could indeed help him a lot regarding his search for his former comrades.
"At least you made a wise choice," Eunice said as she snorted coldly.
"So, when are we going to set out?" Rocky asked straightforwardly.
"When? Right now!" Eunice suddenly took out a Beast Spirit Jade and instantly summoned a spiritual beast that could fly.
"Let's go!" Eunice immediately jumped onto the back of the spiritual beast and gestured Rocky to hop on.
Rocky followed closely and leaped on the back of her spiritual beast.
As they got on, the spiritual beast flew into the sky at a fast speed.
"What's your relationship with the Robber Regiment?" Rocky asked Eunice after a while, as he became bored.
"Why don't you make a guess?" Eunice replied as he glanced at Rocky.
"Hmm. Initially, I thought that the Robber Regiment was just a group of ordinary bandits. However, after seeing you, I changed my thoughts. After all, a beautiful lady like you can't be some mere bandit. So, I'm guessing that the Robber Regiment is just a front and it is hiding its true identity. Also, you may not be the leader of the Robber Regiment, but I think you have more power than him," Rocky guessed as he rubbed his chin.
"If I heard you say that before, I might have killed you without any hesitation." Eunice didn't expect that Rocky's analysis was spot on, so her eyes immediately narrowed as she stared at him.
"Huh? Why is that?" Rocky asked with a smug smile on his face.
"You're much smarter than you appear, so I might have decided that you're going to be a lot of trouble. However, we're in the same boat now, so it's actually beneficial for us to have those wits. Let me tell you this, the Robber Regiment is indeed not an ordinary bandit group. It is a small organization under a force that aims to unite the entire Ethereal Region," Eunice briefly explained.
"What? That's ambitious. Unifying the Ethereal Region is not going to be easy!" Rocky couldn't help but let out a frown upon hearing that. Based on his experience, it was impossible to unify a world or even a region if one didn't possess absolute power.
"There is no other choice but to make that happen! The future of the Ethereal Region depends on it. Right now, the region is in a chaotic mess because the three major sects are hostile to each other. There is internal strife everywhere," Eunice remarked indignantly.
"Isn't it just normal? After all, it is people's nature to want to rule over the other," Rocky said indifferently.
"Normal? In the entire Supreme Ether land, the Ethereal Region of the human race is the weakest one. Because of the continuous provocation of the Shura Race, our human race and the spiritual race are in a bloody war. As we speak, the borders are in grave danger. But what? The three major sects are just doing nothing as if they aren't the least concerned! In no time, the entire Ethereal Region will face a devastating situation. That is if nothing is still done." Eunice spoke as she crossed her arms.
"Wait a minute. If the three major sects are doing nothing, then who is resisting the spiritual race at the border?" Rocky furrowed his brows and was a bit confused.
