After chomping down a lot of fish that Rocky cooked, Eunice, who used to eat meagerly, couldn’t help but pat her slightly swollen belly and complained, “It’s your fault! Why did you cook so much? Now, look what you’ve done. I’m so full!”

“Nobody asked you to eat that much,” Rocky replied with a bitter smile. “I’m going inside my Magic Spiritual Space to deal with something. Are you okay to just stay here alone?” Rocky asked after tidying up the table and the tableware.

“Do you take me for a toddler? Of course, I can manage by myself. But actually, I’m bored to be alone. Where’s Kohen? Ask it to come out to accompany me!” Eunice said after hesitating for a while.

Rocky just smiled and shook his head as he called Kohen out to accompany Eunice. Afterward, he directly entered his Magic Spiritual Space and went to his laboratory to continue his research.

As they separated ways for a while and did their own thing, the night passed rather quickly.

The following morning, when Rocky walked out of the space, he was a bit surprised that he couldn’t find both Eunice and Kohen beside the stream.

“Where would those two go early in the morning?” Rocky let out a frown, knowing that this situation wasn’t normal. Even if Eunice left because she had something to do, she would definitely leave a message. However, wherever he looked, he didn’t find any hint of her whereabouts.

“What’s happening?” Rocky murmured to himself, worrying about the two. Without wasting any time, he released his spiritual power to search for Eunice’s aura within the area of a few hundred meters.

Soon enough, Rocky perceived Eunice’s aura. However, it was fluctuating rapidly as if she was fighting with someone or something.

As soon as he found a hint of her aura, Rocky rushed towards the direction where she was supposed to be.

Not long after, Rocky passed by a hill and eventually saw a delicate figure that should be Eunice. At the same time, he also noticed that there was a short figure who was fighting against her.

However, the thing that surprised Rocky was that Eunice was actually at a disadvantage and was being pushed to a corner.

Worried that Eunice might suffer an injury, Rocky dashed forth and swiftly made his way between them. In an instant, he appeared in front of Eunice and protected her by displaying the Thousand-star Swordsmanship.

All of a sudden, a blinding light exploded within dozens of meters, filling the area with dazzling starlight. At the same instant, the short figure was quickly enveloped in it.

Sensing that he was in grave danger, the short figure hurriedly leaped backward to get out of Rocky’s attacking range. His movements were extremely agile and did not resemble a human being at all.

Seeing this, Rocky did not continue his attack and just stood still.

“Basil! He is the thief who stole our fish last night! I saw him sneaking around early in the morning so I chased after him,” Eunice shouted as she pointed at the short figure.

As Rocky took a closer look, he eventually realized that the short figure was actually a child about the ages of twelve to thirteen. However, his appearance was pretty different from normal human children. He had a pair of fierce eyes which was almost the same as a beast. At that very moment, they were filled with vigilance as he stared at Rocky. The short figure was not wearing human clothes but rather beast skin, which revealed his blackened skin. That was when Rocky recognized that he was a real black child.

“Oh, it’s just a child!” Rocky was actually a little surprised because it was out of the ordinary for a child to appear here in the Spiritual Sea Region.

“Yes, but it’s also a thief,” Eunice softly mumbled.

Because of Rocky’s sudden appearance, the little black boy looked restless and uneasy. From time to time, he would make loud groans like that of a beast.

Noticing that the little black boy was hostile to them, Rocky decided to restrain his aura and tried to communicate with him. “We’re not bad persons. We won’t hurt you. You don’t need to be afraid. What’s your name? And what are you doing here in the Spiritual Sea Region?”

However, there was no response from the little boy and it seemed that he didn’t understand any of the words that Rocky just said. He just kept on slowly moving around Rocky and Eunice, not letting his eyes off of them.

“I don’t think he can understand the human language. I’ve actually tried to speak to him earlier, but he just attacked me,” Eunice said, still annoyed that she wasn’t able to deal with the little boy by herself.

“There’s something strange about him. He’s just a child but his aura seems to be quite on par with ours. Normally, at his age, he shouldn’t be able to possess that kind of strength. I’m thinking if he was born with divine power. Do you have a guess?” Rocky asked as he also fixed his eyes on the boy.

“Who knows? All I know is that we have to be careful. You’re right; he’s just a child but he seems to be pretty strong. The worst part is that he is very hostile towards us!” Eunice said anxiously. She had fought with him a while ago, so she knew that he couldn’t be underestimated.
