"Well, you are wrong about that. You and your people have entered the forbidden area, which is the most sacred place for us. You just can't barge in here and defile it!" the spiritual beast roared aggressively.

"I see. We sincerely apologize because we did not mean to do it. We just happened to pass by unintentionally," Rocky explained.

"Ha! You think a simple apology would suffice? What's done is done. You can't take that back," the spiritual beast replied stubbornly.

"Then, what can we do to make up for it? Just tell us and we will do it," Rocky bargained as he clenched his fists.

"Oh, really? Then, leave two hundred of your men with us as tributes. Do that and I may consider letting the rest of you go," the spiritual beast replied with a defiant sneer.

"You are asking for the impossible." Of course, Rocky would not deliberately sacrifice the lives of two hundred people in exchange for the safety of rest of the army.

"You asked me what you can do, and I answered you. Now, if you can't do that, then there's no need for a discussion. It's either you make a sacrifice or all of you are going to die. After all, you humans have no chance of winning against my spiritual beast army!" the Emperor Realm spiritual beast declared mightily.

"Fine. You also leave me with no choice!" Rocky could easily tell that the spiritual beast was full of greed and evil desires, so he deemed that it was useless to negotiate with him. Thus, he flew back and instantly landed beside Deputy Commander Lin, bearing a serious expression on his face. "Sir, could you please let me take command of the entire army for the time being?"
