After conversing with Tucker, Rocky quickly developed a strategy and began to assemble the troops to the best of his abilities.

Two hours later, the city walls of the Tiger Whisker Pass could no longer hold off its enemies. The soldiers of the spiritual race swiftly rushed towards the city walls like a tide about to crash on the sandy shore. Before long, they would completely occupy the city walls. The city gates would open once the walls were gone, and numerous soldiers of the spiritual race would come rushing in.

“Commander Wang, let’s begin!” Realizing the time had come, Rocky nodded towards Tucker.

“Soldiers! Leave the city walls and blow up the rocks on both sides,” Tucker ordered after hearing Rocky.

Soon, the generals and soldiers of the Tiger Whisker Pass stationed by the city walls retreated as fast as they could. Meanwhile, the soldiers who had just finished planting the explosives into the walls just started to ignite the fuses.

Once the humans retreated from the city walls, the generals and soldiers of the spiritual race cheered loudly.

“Open the city gates now!” a commander of the spiritual race screamed.

The gates within the city walls soon opened and several spiritual race soldiers rushed in with the intention of storming the city.

At that moment, the rocks on the left city wall suddenly burst into the sky. Then, numerous stones came crashing down and smashed into the city wall where the spiritual race soldiers were located.

They were completely caught off guard and wanted to get out of the city as quickly as possible. However, the remaining spiritual race soldiers who were still outside the walls were unaware of what happened and continued to rush into the city. Thousands of spiritual race soldiers ended up blocked within and outside of the city walls.

Boom!

It wasn’t long before the rocks on the right city wall exploded into the air too. A large number of stones fell down like a heavy rain and smashed many of the spiritual race soldiers below to death.

By then, both of the city walls began to collapse. Around three to four thousand spiritual race soldiers were injured and killed in less than five minutes. The number continued to rise.

Phelps, who stayed behind with the rest of the spiritual race army, witnessed the walls and stones that held up the Tiger Whisker Pass topple and massacre all the soldiers that were in its path. He trembled in anger. He never expected the human army to smash the city walls to defend the Tiger Whisker Pass. They clearly intended on cutting off all means of retreat and fighting to the death.

“The city-attacking forces should retreat first!” Phelps ordered.

Soon after receiving the order, the soldiers quickly retreated from the city walls of the Tiger Whisker Pass which were steadily turning into a heap of ruins as the large number of rocks began to pile up. The height of the heap was twice as high as before that it eventually became a huge stone wall that blocked the Tiger Whisker Pass.

Tucker breathed a sigh of relief at the success of Rocky’s plan. However, they had an even more critical challenge to face next. Because the city walls were no longer up, that left them exposed and defenseless. Once the spiritual race army broke through and entered the pass, there was nothing left but a desperate battle to face.

“Commander Wang, it will take the spiritual race at least a day to get through those ruins. We have a day to recover and set up all the necessary traps,” Rocky commented. He had read Tucker’s mind and informed him what they ought to do next.
