The Medallion novel Chapter 1737

"It's not that simple. I have the gods' mark on my body and I'm still a Godly Genius. I have to accept the task. I will be free after the final battle among the Godly Geniuses," Rocky answered, shaking his head.

"So you come to me because you want me to help you, right?" asked Eunice.

"That's right. I'm hoping that the Di Clan will be able to help me get the three quotas I need to participate in the contest."

"Oh no," Eunice replied, frowning.

"What's the problem?" Rocky's brow also furrowed. He didn't anticipate any problems.

"The acting chief needs to make that decision, but he is not in the Di Clan right now."

"When will he be back?" Rocky felt slightly surprised. His whole plan could be ruined by one little bump in the road.

"I'm not sure. I do have a way to contact him, but I'll need to return to the Di Clan to do it. And don't worry. There's plenty of time before the Spiritual Emperor Contest starts to solve this."

"Thank you very much."

"Don't thank me. I'm just relieved to see you again." Eunice smiled gently.

"I've been staying outside for too long, which is not safe. I have to go back. When you hear something, let me know." As he spoke, he summoned a Carrier Beast from the Magic Spiritual Space that he had improved using gene technology and handed it to Eunice.

Then, Rocky departed.

He made his way back to the inn and climbed the stairs. The moment that he opened the door, Gloria jumped out at him.

"Where were you?" she asked, crossing her arms over her chest.

"I didn't go anywhere. I just walked around," Rocky lied.

"You demand that we stay put, but look at you! You go out all the time and never take us with you," Gloria complained.

"You are both bad tempered. If I let you go out, you will stir up trouble. We can't expose our identities at any point or we will lose our qualification and be unable to finish the task. But if you don't want to do the task, I won't stop you," Rocky said seriously.

"Why are you being so serious? I was just kidding!"

"Where is Valeria?"

"She hasn't come out of her room. Doesn't she ever get bored?"

"Do you think everyone is as active as you?"

"I can't help it! Being here is a bore! Can you disguise me as a human beauty and let me seduce some men?" Gloria begged.

Rocky rolled his eyes dramatically and walked into his room, ignoring her pleads.

For two days, Rocky and the two women stayed in the inn, waiting for Eunice to contact him.

Finally, on the third day, the Carrier Beast he gave to Eunice flew to the inn and searched for Rocky.

When it found him, it guided Rocky to a desolate suburb on the outside of the Emperor City. He discovered Eunice waiting for him.

"I have good news and bad news," Eunice announced the moment that her eyes landed on him.

"Give me the bad news first, please."

"Okay. The quotas needed to participate in the contest have already been decided and can't be changed."

"That's really bad news." Rocky frowned and then asked, "What about the good news?"

"We have five quotas in the Di Clan, so our acting chief decided to give you three and he ordered me to help during your task."

"Please express my gratitude to him."
