The Medallion novel Chapter 1786

Rocky knew what Guillermo was thinking, which was why he planned to stall so that Israel could arrive just in time.

"You don't want me as an enemy, do you?" Rocky asked him with a depressed stare.

"Cut the crap, will you?" Guillermo was clearly determined to kill Rocky. He ordered those monsters and, suddenly, they rushed towards Rocky and blocked his way.

Rocky immediately released three demonic phantoms to protect himself.

The monsters in the Myriad-tribulation Devil Den were not intelligent by any means, so very quickly they were besieged by the three phantoms. As Rocky was hidden behind the phantoms, Guillermo had a hard time recognizing him at once.

But Guillermo was no pushover. After all, he was also chosen by the gods, so he had his strength.

A moment later, he discovered where Rocky was and swiftly launched a violent attack. Guillermo swung a giant mace straight into Rocky's face. Rocky felt the earth beneath him shake violently and his vision blur.

He calculated the time and guessed that Israel would arrive at any moment, so he didn't dodge and chose to stand still and confront Guillermo head-on.

Guillermo sneered when he realized Rocky didn't dodge. In terms of strength, he would never lose to any Godly Genius. Even Israel, the strongest Godly Genius, may not be able to surpass his physical power.

Guillermo swung his mace again, its force so violent that it felt as though it could destroy the world. Even the demonic monsters couldn't withstand its power and swiftly fled in panic.

But Rocky stood still.

Boom!

As the mace hit Rocky, the ground beneath him shook violently. The place where he stood was now filled with spiritual power. Stones were scattered everywhere and left Rocky covered in dust.

Guillermo clearly felt the mace make contact with Rocky, so it would be nearly impossible for the latter to remain unharmed. Guillermo was so confident that he didn't bother to continue with his attack, because he was convinced that Rocky would quickly beg him to spare his life.

Just as the confident Guillermo was feeling smug about the whole thing, a few black needles suddenly emerged out of the dust clouds and obscurely pierced his flesh.

However, he never noticed that he was attacked. He just brushed off the feeling as being bitten by a few mosquitoes. He ignored it and focused all of his attention on Rocky instead.

A moment later, the dust slowly dissipated and settled. Rocky stood still as if he had never moved at all. He was clearly unfazed by the attack.

When Guillermo took a closer look, he discovered that Rocky was completely unharmed.

"How is this possible?" He found himself slightly surprised.
