As soon as Rocky got back to the Ghost Palace, he saw Esteban, wearing an irritated expression on his face. Although he saw Rocky and Eunice enter, he just ignored them.

"Hey, old man. What's gotten into you? Who made you so unhappy?" Rocky asked in a teasing tone.

"Humph! It's all because of that bullshit of a royal family! Can you believe that they asked me to join the army just so I can be a military doctor? That's just ridiculous! Who do they think am I?" Esteban instantly lashed out, driven crazy by the absurd demand of the royal family.

"Then, what did the leader say? I'm sure he'll be against it," Rocky assumed.

"Well, he can't do anything, can he? This is a direct order from the royal family. Even he can't refuse them," Esteban replied as he rolled his eyes at Rocky.

"So, you're going? When will you leave?"

"Ha! I didn't say that I will go. They can't force me if I don't want to. I'm also warning you not to convince. Otherwise, I will recommend you in my stead! Your medical skills are fine now. Even if it is you, you'll do okay," Esteban snorted, threatening Rocky.

"What? I am a Godly Genius. Of course, the royal family will not allow me to take such a risk," Rocky immediately retorted, finding a loophole if ever Esteban was serious with his statement.

"Huh? Why not? The royal family thinks that Godly Geniuses are also dispensable just like everybody else." Esteban let out a frown, still pissed at what the royal family wanted him to do.

"Fine. Enough about that. We can talk about it some other time." Since Rocky was not really interested in it, he did not want to dwell on it.

"Anyway, this girl is pretty. How are you able to pick some random girl every time you go someplace? You really are something! Is that a secret gift of yours?" Soon enough, Esteban noticed Eunice beside Rocky. He thought that among ordinary members of the Shura Race, Eunice's beauty is on a different level.

"Pardon me, sir. But I am not just some random girl. I am a decent one," Eunice immediately corrected him but in a polite way.

"Ha-ha! You are glib. I like it!" In his short interaction with Eunice, Esteban's mood seemed to get better.

"You must be Master Esteban. Basil here often mentions you," Eunice said in a rather sweet tone.

"Basil? Wait a minute..." Upon hearing Rocky's human name, Esteban quickly pulled Rocky aside. "Are you crazy? Did you just bring a human with you? If the leader finds out about this, you know how big this trouble will bring to you!"

"Don't worry. We will be very careful. Besides, she's not just an ordinary girl. She's actually from the Di Clan," Rocky revealed with a faint smile.

"Did you just say the Di Clan?" It seemed that Esteban was stunned upon hearing the name of the clan. Afterward, the way he looked at Eunice also became very different.

Then, Rocky also told him about the general situation of the Di Clan. After hearing that Jaiden was still alive and well, Esteban appeared to be pretty delighted.

"Why do you look so happy all of a sudden? What exactly is your relationship with the Di Clan?" Rocky was a bit confused after seeing the elated expression on the old man's face. After all, he rarely saw him like this.

"Stop asking too many questions! It's none of your business!" In an instant, Esteban returned to his usual self and glared at Rocky. Then, he approached Eunice with a smile on his face and said, "Since you're still new here, why don't I show you around? While you get familiar with the place, we could also get familiar with each other. What do you think?"

"Okay! That sounds nice." Eunice nodded immediately, excited to see more of the culture of the Shura Race.

'What is happening? This old man has never been so enthusiastic around me all this time. He must be hiding something. I'd say he has a close relationship with the Di Clan...' Rocky thought to himself, narrowing his eyes as he watched Esteban and Eunice leave.

When the two left, Rocky had nothing more to do, so he went to the medicine hall.

Not long after, Valeria arrived, accompanied by two disciples from the Flower Fief.

"Do you know where Master Esteban is? I'm supposed to meet him here," Valeria asked, seeing that Rocky was the only one there.

"Oh, he's actually out right now being a tour guide," Rocky replied indifferently.

"Tour guide? What is that?" Apparently, Valeria did not know what the term meant because it was just usually used in modern society.

Then, Rocky winked at her, signaling her to send her attendants outside for a while.

"You two can go back first. My treatment might take a bit long. I'll just ask Odin to accompany me back later," Valeria turned to her attendants and ordered.

The disciples just looked at each other, nodded at Valeria, and silently left.
