Boom! Boom! Boom!

A series of deafening explosions reverberated. Then, when the spirit warriors of the Wankong Clan looked around, they were dumbfounded to see that the mountain of ice thorns that blocked their way had actually disappeared. Moreover, they did not even sustain any injury at all. Of course, they could not believe what just happened, and it was as if they were dreaming.

With the help of the mighty defensive power of the Demonic Bone Shield, Rocky and the rest of his team finally got past the area that was bound by the spiritual array.

After confirming that there was no imminent danger around them, Rocky decided to put away the Demonic Bone Shield and deactivated the Army-blessing Scroll.

Soon enough, the speed of the whole team slowed down until they eventually halted.

Except for Finnegan, the rest of the spirit warriors, including Alex, could not help but sit on the snow upon realizing that they were already safe. They were furiously panting from fatigue since their spiritual power was almost exhausted.

"I cannot believe that we really made it past that vicious spiritual array!" Alex exclaimed. She seemed to sound extremely excited and confused at the same time.

"Me, either. What Rookie just did is beyond my comprehension!" Even Finnegan could only sigh in disbelief. After all, he was a Spiritual Emperor at the medium stage and was supposed to be the strongest in their team. However, his strength was not enough to get his team past the overwhelming tests in the Ethereal Valley. Moreover, the one that actually saved them was just a Spiritual King.

Of course, if he knew Rocky's real strength, everything would make sense.

"Everyone, get enough rest and take some pills to replenish your spiritual power. Although we have gotten out of that trouble, it's still hard to say what kind of test we will encounter next," Rocky urged the members of his team.

"Hey, I need to talk to you," Vivian whispered as she signaled to Rocky.

Rocky raised his eyebrows, wondering what Vivian wanted to talk about. Then, he followed her away from the warriors of the Wankong Clan.

"So, when are we going to leave these people and act on our own? We are wasting too much time." Vivian went straight to the point. It seemed that she wanted to remind Rocky that their main purpose for coming to the Ethereal Valley this time was to open the entrance to the Holy-Evil World.

"I know what you are thinking. However, let's just wait until we escort them to the designated area," Rocky replied without any reluctance.

"What? You don't have to be so kind to these people! Wait a minute. Do you have a crush on Alex? Is it what this is about?" Truth be told, Vivian was sometimes annoyed at Rocky's generosity and helpfulness. After all, she was born in the Shura Race, and they were known to have a culture of doing things according to their own interests. Hence, she didn't understand why Rocky would go to such extent to help people that he barely knew.

"So what if I do? Am I not allowed to have a concubine?" Rocky replied jokingly.

"Well, I actually have no objection to that. But just remember that the two Godly Geniuses won't let you go if they know about this!" Vivian glared at Rocky before she shook her head and laughed.

"Don't worry. I just want Alex to get what she wants. Think of it as our thanks for her support to us," Rocky said with a gentle smile.

"Okay, fine. Whatever!" Because of the times that they spent together, Vivian already knew what kind of person Rocky was, and no matter what she did, she would not be able to change his mind. Besides, she just came to assist Rocky in his task, so she had no problem doing how he wanted to do things.

After resting for about four hours, Rocky and the rest got back on their feet and went on their way.

A whole day passed, and the team of the Wankong Clan still did not encounter anything out of the ordinary.

Except for a few demonic spiritual beasts, they were able to handle things quite smoothly.
