OCEAN'S POV:-
I looked at his grandfather. I recognized him. He came to Moon and pulled him in a bear hug. I was also happy seeing my Moon. He was happy and that was what mattered. But suddenly, the world around me started spinning and then everything went dark.
I opened my eyes again and found myself lying on the dusty ground. I sat up and looked around. It was the darker part of the forest. The same place where I had met my mother. I stood up and found Vixen sitting on the ground as well. I frowned because I knew only one of us could be out at a time. But seeing her out as well made me think if everything was fine.
Ocean: I thought either you would be out or me?
I asked her in a questioning voice. Vixen stood up and shook her head.
Vixen: Now we are never going to be together. Everything is finished. He did that all. He destroyed everything. And we were not able to stop him.
She replied with teary eyes. I patted her head and we both hugged each other.
Ocean: What do you mean? Who did it? Who destroyed everything?
I asked her while my eyes roamed around. I could see the destruction around me. Everything was fully trashed. Like a monster had leveled up the whole forest. The trees were down. The few were standing at their places but they were on fire.
Vixen: Our Moon did that. We were not able to stop him. Valtor was the one who killed us. After that, nobody was able to control Moon. He destroyed everything.
She replied and I quickly broke the hug to look into her eyes.
Ocean: What do you mean by he killed us?
I asked Vixen in a shocked tone. She narrowed her eyes then a few more tears escaped her eyes.
Vixen: Moon, he could not control the monster inside him. He had the bigger demon inside him. We were not able to see that demon. And when the time came, we were not able to control him. You were trying so hard to stop him but in the end, Valtor slit your throat like you were nothing but a goat for him.
Valtor Redford: You can not imagine. It was easier than I thought. I thought he would give me a hard time but instead, he actually came to me, asking for help. No no, he was actually begging me.
He said with that same smirk on his face. I went to Moon. I stood in front of him. His eyes were pitch black. He looked like a walking dead. He was covered in blood from head to toe. His face looked different, like he was a deadly monster.
Valtor Redford: What he did not know, I was the one who killed his grandfather and Ocean, not those stinky creature, Alpha Zeus. Now you will forever be my pet. Who will save you from me now?
He said and grabbed my mother's neck. He was choking her. I ran towards my mother and tried to help her but instead I felt someone's hand on my back. Before I could see who it was, the darkness engulfed me again.
I felt like I was awoken by someone from a nightmare. Moon was standing behind me. He was rubbing my back gently. I was shaking with fear. The fear of the monster I had seen in that nightmare. He was more scary than the monster I had been seeing in my nightmares since my childhood. Moon whispered my name and I looked around. I then looked back at him. He had a soft smile on his face. But still his face reminded me of that monster.
I looked at all of their faces for a good minute then I took a few steps backwards. I could not bear the pressure that was making me gasp for air. Like I was drowning into the ocean and my lungs were burning for oxygen. Moon tried to grab my hand to stop me but I ran away from the kitchen. Everything I had seen into that nightmare, it was playing inside my head like a film. I just wanted to run away so I would be able to keep myself safe.
I went to the garden and sat beside the huge tree. I hugged my knees tightly and started sobbing. I shut my eyes and asked my God to give me back my mom and dad. It was just too much for me to handle. I was happy with my life with my parents. I was happy in New York. I wanted to go back into that world and forget about everything.
