CHAPTER 49 The Moon and The Ocean

MOON'S POV:-

I landed on the ground and Valtor put his foot on my head. I gritted my teeth and tried to get up. I was just tired because I was not just fighting those vampires. I was also fighting that monster that was inside me. I could feel him getting angrier with every single punch. He was getting ready to leash out and the worst part was, Ocean was not around to push him back inside.

Last time I felt like destroying the whole world when I almost lost Ocean. It was like that monster was in love with Ocean. That he could only be controlled by Ocean.

Valtor: That's it, my pet. Let him take over. Let him out so I can rule the world. Let him come out because his master is calling him. I am his master and he only serves me.

Valtor said as he pressed his foot on my head. My claws grew bigger and I dug my claws in his leg. He screamed in pain and kicked my stomach. I went flying to the nearest wall and fell on the ground with a loud thud. The sweet vanilla scent made its way to my nostrils and I started laughing hysterically. Just as the scent reached my lungs, my monster stopped threatening me.

Valtor gave me a confused look as my laugh was louder than his roars. He gritted his teeth in anger and stood up from the seat he was sitting on. Suddenly, I felt something I had never felt in my life. I could see everything but I felt more powerful than ever. I looked around and everything was red. Like I had blood in my eyes or someone turned on the red lights. I looked at my reflection in the window glass. My eyes widened as I saw him. The monster was actually out. My eyes were pitch black and my fangs were bigger. My claws were sharper and my skin looked like the frozen water of the lake.

Valtor smiled as he made his way to me. One of the vampires attacked me but I raised my hand in the air and because of my sharp claws, my hand went through his chest. I shook my arm and he fell on the ground with a loud thud. Valtor was almost beside me when Ocean stood between us. I leaned over her hair and inhaled her sweet scent deeply. Valtor's eyes glowed red as he attacked Ocean. But before I could even move my hand, Ocean pushed the dagger into his chest. The dagger cut through his heart. Ocean pulled it out again and turned around. She cupped my face and we kissed each other hungrily.

We broke the kiss and lunged ourselves at the vampires. Before Valtor's head would have hit the ground, all his vampires were lying dead on the ground. I smirked at my brave mate and carried her to our bedroom. I threw her on the bed and we made love. But we were not gentle. We were fucking each other like two wild animals. I finally understood something that I had never paid attention towards. Ocean was my mate and Vixen was the mate of my monster inside me. We were inseparable.

OCEAN'S POV:-

Ma tied my hair in a beautiful bun and handed me the bouquet of flowers. She gave me her hand and helped me stand up. I was so nervous that my palms were sweaty. She giggled and pulled me in a motherly hug. We heard a knock on the door and we turned around.

Maria: You can come in, Derek.

She said and pa stepped into the room. A tear escaped his eye as he looked at me. He came to me and pecked my forehead.

Derek: You look absolutely stunning, my dear. Moon is very lucky to have you in his life. Everything changed the day you stepped into our lives. And I am glad that you were sent here. Our family is complete now.

He said as he pulled me in a fatherly hug. Maria rubbed my back as pa broke the hug. I gave him my hand and he shook his head. I frowned because I was told pa would be taking me to my Moon.

Derek: Someone came here only to take you to your Moon. I can not do that, honey. It's his right to do.
