Chapter 276 Picking Boyfriends from the Trash
"I may be a temptress, but at least that's better than you—an ugly woman who shamelessly called herself the most beautiful in the class."
"Samantha, what did you say?"
Samantha snarked, "Look at you, pretending to act all proper, as if you actually understand human speech."
After a brief pause, she added, "Well, it makes sense. Beasts can't understand human language, right? Even now, I'm calling a beast shameless, and just as I thought, she doesn't understand a thing."
"Samantha, you're clearly seeking trouble. Do you even realize what you're saying?"
Samantha raised an eyebrow. "Of course I do. I was just calling a beast shameless."
"You… Who are you calling a beast?"
"You, of course!"
Yvonne's face twisted in rage at Samantha's words. "Samantha, I bet you're only insulting me because you found out from other classmates that I'm marrying the guy who pursued you three years ago. You're just jealous, aren't you?"
What the hell? She's actually marrying that playboy? She must be out of her mind.
With a tone of utter disdain, Samantha retorted, "Sorry to disappoint you, but I haven't been in touch with any of our high school classmates for three years. So, if you hadn't brought it up today, I wouldn't have known that you're marrying the man who's cheated on you countless times. Congratulations.
"As an old classmate, I want to give you some advice. When you get married, make sure your husband doesn't send out wedding invitations. I'd hate for all the women he's cheated on you with to show up at your wedding. You'd be so mad that you might keel over on your big day. Now, wouldn't that be a tragedy?"
