The Peremptory Casey Davies novel Chapter 61

Edith’s first reaction when she saw Diana’s actions was that Diana wanted to rob her man.

Especially after Casey sang a song for Edith with affection just now, she was still in spiritual communication with Casey. At this time her best friend said she wanted to stay alone with Casey for a while. Whoever saw this would misunderstand.

"Why do you want to stay alone for a while with Casey? Why not speak it out here in front of me?" Edith asked cautiously.

"Edith, don’t get me wrong. I have no other idea, but just some questions to ask him." Diana instantly explained.

Edith found it strange that Diana’s attitude towards Casey changed dramatically after he sang a song.

If it had been before, Diana would have definitely said that she looked down on Casey, but now she asked Edith not to think too much.

"Edith, what are you worrying about? It is impossible for Diana to get her eye on Casey. Are you afraid this jerk will succeed in seducing Diana?"

"Of course. Although Casey is good at singing, everyone knows his disrepute, especially Diana, who may look down most on Casey."

"Ha, ha, Edith, I really feel that you think too much. It’s impossible for Diana to take a fancy to a loser like Casey. There is only her Prince Charming in her eyes."

Hearing the surrounding people talking about her, Diana felt extremely embarrassed. If she had known it earlier, she would not have treated Casey in that way before.

Although these people put in a word for her, she felt these words were slapping her face.

Especially if Casey heard these words, he wouldn’t absolutely be well disposed towards her anymore.

"Well... Fine. Casey, go with Diana." Edith opened her mouth reluctantly.

Casey smiled at Edith and said, "Don’t worry. I only have eyes for you."

Hearing Casey’s words, Edith breathed a sigh of relief.

She didn’t know when she began to care about Casey. Not long ago, she still thought Casey was an encumbrance.

Diana took Casey to the corridor outside, apprehensive in her mind.

Casey stood in front of Diana without any expression on his face.

Diana naturally could feel the difference of Casey’s attitude towards her and Edith, which made her more disappointed.

"Are... are you Caesar?" Diana asked.

Casey nodded, "Yes, it’s me."

Hearing Casey’s admission, Diana lowered her head and asked, "Now that you are Caesar and you already have Edith, why did you still give me so many gratuities?"

"The other day you were doing live steam together with Edith. I want her to be happy so I gave you gratuity." Casey answered.

"What about that song? Why were you willing to sing that song for me?" Diana continued.

"Well, it was because the fans in the live broadcasting room were so enthusiastic. Besides, it was just a song. It meant nothing to sing it for them."

Diana stiffened immediately. Actually, neither of the two things she had cared a lot had nothing to do with her.

What Casey had done was not for her completely.

This made her feel depressed. She hadn’t expected that it was all in her imagination.

Maybe it was her fated retribution.

"That’s fine. At least you are good to Edith. Will you blame me for my previous attitude towards you? Isn’t it late for me to apologize to you?" Diana looked up at Casey.

Although she had lost the opportunity, she wanted Casey to forgive her.

"There is no need because I am used to these. And I always ignore directly this kind of things." Casey said faintly.

Diana suddenly felt stuck in her throat. In her opinion, Casey was refusing to forgive her.

But Casey did think so, who never cared about Diana and only had Edith in his eyes like what he had said just now.

"Well… can I hug you?" Diana made a final request.

She had been imagining it before. She thought she would definitely come over and hug her Prince Charming when he appeared.

However, to her surprise, her Prince Charming was Casey, who was always looked down upon by her.

"Sorry, I only accept Edith’s hug."

Casey said indifferently and then turn around to return to the box.

Diana had already expected this result, looking down disappointed.

Hunter was embarrassed and explained, "Sir, it was just misunderstanding. I have mistaken her for another woman, and I just got beaten up by you without having done anything to her. Please forgive me."

"You are talking nonsense. You know well how you put your hands on me at that time." The woman shouted.

Hunter felt helpless, knowing he was unable to escape today. He took out his bank card and said, "Sir, I have only several thousand dollars in the card. I really cannot take out that much."

"You can’t? Ask them to chip in for you! They are all your classmates, aren’t they? Ask them to take out the money. Otherwise, well, you know you will come to no good end." Black Wolf said, smiling coldly.

Hunter turned to look around. Those who licked his boots previously instantly looked away, pretending that they knew nothing.

Hunter cursed in his mind, thinking that these people were close to him only when there were benefits, who stood aside when he had an accident.

At this moment, he saw Casey who was sitting in the corner, and a trace of malice flashed by in his eyes.

"If you hadn’t robbed me of Edith, I wouldn’t have had such an accident. It is because of you. Don’t blame me."

Hunter murmured in his mind and then stretched out his finger to point at Casey, saying, "Sir, he has money. The watch on his wrist is worth 380,000 dollars. Besides, he paid 100,000 dollars when we had meal the other day. I am sure he can give you 500,000 dollars."

Black Wolf instantly looked at Casey and said coldly, "Hey man, did you hear that? Take out money quickly!"

Edith suddenly became anxious. It was the first time for her to feel that Hunter was so shameless.

"Why should we pay? It’s your fault and you can’t ask Casey to bear it for you." Edith snapped.

Although Hunter didn’t want Edith to view him in this way, he had no other choice under the circumstances. He knew Black Wolf’s dreadfulness.

He said helplessly, "Edith, I have no choice. Please ask Casey to help me and I will definitely give the money back to you."

"Hunter, it is so shameless and nasty of you to ask Casey to take out the money for you! I was really mistaken about you!" Diana shouted angrily.

Hunter was surprised because he didn’t know when Diana began to defend Casey.

After seeing Edith and Diana’s beauty, Black Wolf lit up his eyes and pushed away the woman in his chest.

He glanced at Edith and Diana with vicious smile and said, "That’s OK if you don’t want to pay."

Hearing what Black Wolf said, Edith sighed with relief, thinking that the conscience guided Black Wolf.

"As long as both of you are willing to sleep with me, I will choose to pass over the accident this time. In addition, all of your consumption tonight is on me. What do you think?" Black Wolf said lustfully, showing the yellow teeth in his mouth.
