The Peremptory Casey Davies novel Chapter 863

After knowing the reason why Thomas came to him, Casey was a little embarrassed. Thomas should come to ask him to join the Pantheon just because Thomas believed that he could enter the stage that no one had ever entered before. It made Casey have a feeling that he was being fooled.

"I'm afraid that you've overestimated me. I'm just a little more gifted than others. If there have never been anyone who could enter Unrealm, I'm afraid that I won't be able to do that, either." Casey said.

He was not going to tell Thomas that he had mastered XuanJin. In the past, his teacher had warned him that XuanJin was related to many things and that he mustn't tell anyone about it when it was not very necessary to. Thomas was the Lord of the Pantheon and was very powerful. If Thomas got to know that he had XuanJin, something bad might happen.

Even if it was necessary for him to inform Thomas of that, he would not tell Thomas before he had a good understanding of the Pantheon.

"You should have known my age. I'm more than 150 years old now. Although I'm powerful, I'll die in the next few decades. I have to find a Lord for the Pantheon before I die. You have a good character and are extremely gifted, so you're the best candidate." Thomas went on speaking.

Before, Casey just picked up the cup and took a sip. When he heard what Thomas said, he almost spat out the tea.

He took a close look at Thomas. In his opinion, Thomas was just about sixty or seventy years old. But he claimed that he had been more than 150 years old! In Casey's mind, a person who was more than 100 years old should have lost the ability to move.

Besides, Thomas was sure that he would pass away in a few decades. Could it be that he thought that he should have a 200-year lifespan?

"If you didn't tell me that you're more than 150 years old, I would not be able to find it. You look really young." Casey said.

Thomas smiled and said, "The stronger a person is, the longer he or she lives. It's not rare for people to live so long. If you can become a master in Unrealm, you will definitely live longer than I do."

Feeling curious, Casey asked, "May I ask which stage you're in now?"

According to Casey's speculation, this senior citizen, as the Lord of the Pantheon, must be very powerful. He guessed that this senior citizen might be a master in the advanced stage of sublimation.

Thomas smiled at Casey and spoke, "If I make some progress, I'll be a master in Unrealm. However, I can only go so far. I won't be able to be a master in Unrealm."

Casey's eyes widened immediately. It was beyond his expectation Thomas should be close to being a master in Unrealm. After knowing that, Casey couldn't help wondering if this senior citizen could kill him with mere a blow.

"I'm running out of time. Moreover, the Pantheon is now facing a trouble that concerns the world. Coming to you is part of the preparation I make for this trouble." Thomas went on speaking.

"What's that?" Casey asked.

"It's not the time to inform you of that. When the time is ripe, you'll naturally know that. Now, you should become a member of the Pantheon and receive the Pantheon's training, so that you can play a role in the future when the Pantheon is in need of you. The world is facing a crisis, and you're the one who can save the world." Thomas said.

Casey shrugged and said, "I'm willing to join the Pantheon, but I'm afraid that I can't save the world."

Thomas was very happy that Casey was willing to join the Pantheon. No matter whether Casey was willing to be the Lord of the Pantheon in the future or not, and no matter whether Casey was willing to deal with that trouble in the future or not, as long as Casey joined the Pantheon, there was hope.

He had thought that it would take him a great effort to persuade Casey to join the Pantheon. To his surprise, Casey agreed so soon. It seemed that what he said was of some use.
