ASHLEY'S POV

Well it was all fun and games at work until I got home. My rent is due tomorrow and he'll I won't be getting paid until the next three weeks. I don't even know what am going to due it's bad enough I already owe 25,000 thanks to my former roommate.

I was in such a bad mood I didn't even bother to shower or eat all the happiness and control I felt today thanks to my boss dissipated slowly but surely I felt weak and helpless again and so I fell into a deep lone Sleep.

I woke up to the sun beaning through my curtains.

It was Friday but I wasn't looking or feeling friday-ish!! I wish I could work the weekend and you know magically get some cash but Lo my ass ain't that lucky so I gotta pick my shit up and head to work.

I got ready in 40 mins because let's be real what's good about work if it ain't pay day?

I prolly be homeless by the time I get home and well I wasn't in the mood to work hence, if someone say something to me I might tear they ass tf up!! But I need the money so I put on my best face and I set out for work.

I wasn't in the situation to be spending money so I walked an hour to work! Every penny counts right? (can you sense the sarcasm?)

I dragged my ass into the Company doors tired asf not even bother to call to the security like I usually do. I dragged my ass to my desk well upon getting there everybody kept starting at me so I guess I really do look like shit but at this point I could careless I'll be homeless in a few hours.

I mean I just wore on oversized t-shirt and a sweatpants messy hair and shit ion give af though work gon take whatever I give it if the boss got a problem then that's his problem.

After a few minutes of computing data and building a schedule for Mr Allieson it was time for a board meeting.

I hurried up the stairs not bothering with the elevators tbh I was just burning some steam as I had way too many issues and mixing work and home activities is not professional so yeah am just tryna cool off before I get there.

As I reached the door this I stopped and took a deep breath before gently opening the door stepping in with a professional face. As soon I stepped in this arrogant man barged in with all his glory pushing me while doing so then he had the audacity to open his mouth and say shit.
