Chapter 235 Snooping Around 

Freya knew that the entire building had cameras except for two spots. One would be the washrooms, and the other would be Nathaniel’s office. He was a man who valued his personal space and would never allow anyone to use his daily routine as leverage against him. This was just not how Nathaniel functioned. Since Freya was given the pin, she was able to enter this secret office. 

She did not want to waste any time as she knew the people Nathaniel hired were no pushovers, especially Koen and the others. If she had spent too long in his office, Taylor would have come over and checked in on her. So, she was hoping that she could find something useful. After looking through Nathaniel’s desk, aside from schedules, she found nothing. She also did not find. any safes. She searched through the room once and started to wonder if this was his office since he did not even have a safe or a hidden drawer or some sort. Soon, Freya started to panic as this opportunity was rare when Nathaniel left the country with Koen and Hudson. Even Taylor had left her alone. It was only because of that was she able to enter his office. She would never have the chance to do so on a normal day. Since Koen was the one who kept Nathaniel’s stuff safe. Since she had to manage some things for his company, Nathaniel decided to tell her the pin to his office. 

She had already searched every inch of this office, including the lounge area and private pool. But there was no safe nor were there any places where he could hide anything. She noticed two pictures next to his bed. It was a picture of them when they first met. So, Freya sat down and looked at the clear face she once had. She was a freshman in her university back then and only came to meet Nathaniel during a school trip. He was a young entrepreneur who sponsored their event back then. She represented the student council and took that picture with him. The picture was taken by a film student. The angle was amazing and that picture even made it to the school’s paper. She felt awful as she stared at her picture. She wondered if she had fallen into Nathaniel’s 

back then. SHe did not expect Nathaniel to keep that picture after so many years,

Freya placed the picture back and picked up another one. It was a very old picture of a family of three. A couple was carrying the baby Nathaniel. The man looked handsome and tall, he resembled Nathaniel a lot and she knew that he must be his father. But the woman….. 

Freya suddenly got up as she remembered seeing that woman’s face. That’s right! I saw her in my dad’s study.
