Nathaniel was taller than Jacob; he was around 6.2 feet tall.
He blocked Jacob's way out, so he could not move.
Nathaniel glanced at Freya; she was being held by Jacob in his arms. She was so slim until her bones were prominent; she was like a pity kitten being abandoned.
Her left side of the face was buried in Jacob's arms, exposing her right side, which had a big and shocking scar.
Jacob took a deep breath and looked at Nathaniel pleadingly; he was hugging Freya tightly and was not willing to let go.
"Nathaniel, just let her go!"
"She might die if she's not rushed to the hospital now. I'm her childhood friend after all; please let me send her to the hospital now!"
"We'll talk about it after this, okay?"
Jacob was actually almost at the same level as Nathaniel; he was very different from Robert. The Rivera family was actually being cornered by the Gomez family, and his grandfather was too soft to handle it. If it were not for Jacob, the Rivera family might be long gone.
He might not be as good as Nathaniel, but he was better than almost everyone who was the same age as him.
No one had ever seen him beg for help before. And he never experienced such a situation in front of Nathaniel, but he was willing to do it for Freya.
Nathaniel was staring deadly at him, but he was still moving away slowly.
Della asked for someone to help the drunk Peyton out of the room, and she suddenly shouted at Nathaniel.
"Hey! Nathaniel… Do you know how hard Freya's life was inside the jail? She was almost dead by then. She should have clearly paid off whatever she owes you, right?"
"Her hand is disabled, and her face was cut with a knife. She has nothing now!"
"Can you please let her live? Can you?"
"What kind of grudge did you hold against the Gomez family? Her dad jumped off a building; her mom is in a coma; and her younger brother is still missing. Don't you think that it's enough?"
"She was chasing after you back then. Let's not talk about her father; she had never wronged you, right? Where's your consciousness?"
"What kind of nonsense are you talking about? Bring her somewhere to sober her up!" Della broke out in a cold sweat. Is this woman insane? How dared she shout at Mr. Morgan?
The two supervisors of the Red Shift were shocked; their faces turned pale. That's it for Peyton; she'll surely be fired by Mr. Morgan.
They hurriedly dragged Peyton to a smaller private room to sober her up.
Nathaniel's face crumpled, and he slowly walked into room 607.
Robert and Emma instantly stood up as Nathaniel sat down on the sofa. There was a sound of the lighter. He lit a cigarette and smoked it.
The light from the lighter illuminated his sharp facial features, and his eyes were extremely cold.
He took a puff of tobacco, and he was tapping on the wine glass. He glanced around at those confused young rich men, and he gestured for his bodyguard to come over.
"Bring them down! Be careful when you're beating them; don't let the security camera capture it."
"Remember to pay for their medical expenses later."
He was the top and richest man in Saeville; he was always silent and expressionless. And he always talked in a cold tone.
Those men were terrified after hearing his words; they were begging for mercy.
"Mr. Morgan, we won't be causing trouble anymore in the Red Shift from now onward."
"We did know that you're the one protecting this place. Mr. Morgan... Mr. Morgan..."
They were brought out from the private room, and Robert quickly smiled apologetically to Nathaniel. His eyes were small, and they got even smaller when he smiled like that.
Emma walked up to him shockingly, and she tried to please him by forcing a smile.
But didn't Nathaniel hate Freya? Now it seems like he's venting out on me and Robert.
But, it seems like Nathaniel still has something for Freya!
Robert was finally truly terrified after hearing his words. How did he know about it? My father spent a lot of money just to get Knuckles' advice...
Unless it was his scheme to take over the Collabera Group?
