Chapter 84 Freya’s First Display Of Vulnerability 

Nathaniel’s brow furrowed as Freya rejected his bouquet of flowers. 

With a chuckle, he tossed the rejected bouquet into the trash and coldly glared at Freya, seizing her left wrist. “Let’s go!” 

Freya, suppressing the urge to stab him with her pen, gently handed it over to the nurse. 

The nurse stood dumbstruck as Nathaniel forcefully led Freya out of the ward. 

Nathaniel had no intention of letting Freya out of his sight. He thought it best to keep her confined. 

In the car, Koen watched from a distance as Nathaniel almost yanked Freya off her feet. His eyebrows knitted together. Is Mr. Morgan planning to restrain Ms. Gomez? 

Freya stumbled as she was dragged along. Koen quickly exited the car and opened the door for her. 

Nathaniel roughly pushed Freya into the car, causing her to nearly faint from the impact. 

He followed her into the car, taking a seat beside her. 

Freya struggled to escape, uncertain of Nathaniel’s intentions but certain that she would likely be imprisoned at Newport Villa. 

Her body trembled slightly as she glared at Nathaniel, teeth gritted. “Mr. Morgan, you’re breaking the law!” 

Nathaniel scoffed, his gaze on Freya dismissive. “I’m the president of Saeville Chamber of Commerce, and you’re a murderer. Public opinion will favor me.” 

Freya was taken aback by his words. 

“Koen, drive to Newport Villa!” Nathaniel commanded. 

Koen quickly pressed the accelerator. The sudden movement caused Freya, who wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, to lose her balance and fall onto Nathaniel, inadvertently touching him. 

Freya quickly pulled away, looking at Nathaniel as if he were a beast. 

Nathaniel’s expression darkened, his fists clenched. This damned woman! 

He turned his gaze to the passing cityscape. The car fell silent, a rare moment of peace between them. 

For the first time in over three years, they sat quietly in the car, lost in their thoughts. 

Nathaniel was the first to break the silence. 

“Freya, be more obedient. I won’t hold our past against you. Newport Villa is in your name. It’s your private property. You can live there as long as you want. I your plastic surgery, the treatment of your left hand, and your rehabilitation. There will be more benefits 

t interfere with your career. I’ll assist with if you cooperate.”
