Upon returning to her villa, Megan's mind was in a mess. She took a shower and changed into her pajamas before getting on her bed. Then, she grabbed a photo of her and Nolan from the bedside cabinet.
That was the only photo of them together.
Seeing how close they looked in the photo, she frowned slightly and muttered, "You deserve this for being too incapable and lazy. I'm not being cruel. Instead, I've tasted a better life, and I don't want to live a boring life like this anymore.
"All I can say is that our fate together ends here, Nolan. You're destined to be an obstacle in my life. However, I have to apologize. Even though I don't want you anymore, I still can't see you being together with Audrey."
After saying that, she sighed and threw the photo into the trash can.
Nolan couldn't hear what she had just said. Otherwise, he would've been utterly speechless. After all, she wasn't allowing him to be with someone else when she didn't want him anymore. That was really too selfish of her.
When Megan woke up the next morning, she had her breakfast and was prepared to head for her work. However, when she stepped out of the door, she was stunned by what she was seeing in front of her.
It was only 8:00 am, and there was already a huge bunch of bouquets on her front porch. There were at least a few dozen bouquets on each side of her door.
Like any other romantic, she loved gestures like that too. However, this was too romantic. More importantly, she wondered who was the one who sent her all those flowers.
At that moment, her net worth was well over hundreds of millions, and a normal romantic gesture like that couldn't move her anymore. So, she thought it was ridiculous for someone to try their luck with some flowers like that.
