The price of betrayal (Jack and Ashley) novel Chapter 129

After Kara was done speaking, she pulled Nolan out of the house.

He felt helpless and had no choice but to go along with her. He wanted to see what tricks she had up her sleeves. If he could stop the fighting between her and Audrey, it would be for the best.

After they arrived downstairs, Kara opened the car door and told him to get in.

Nolan frowned when he saw two beautiful ladies in the backseat. "I'll just take the passenger seat. There's not enough space here."

However, she stopped him and said, "Not everyone can sit in my passenger seat, Nolan. Just sit in the back and don't be scared. This is Kitty and Dipsy. Why are you being so hesitant when they aren't even afraid of you at all?"

Being talked down upon left him speechless. He couldn't believe that she would go through all this trouble just to mess with him.

At that moment, Kitty got out of the vehicle and smiled at Nolan. "Well, aren't you handsome? I couldn't even tell you're almost in your 30's at all! Hi, I'm Kitty. It's great to meet you!"

Afterward, she reached her hand out, and he had no choice but to shake it.

Just when he was about to pull his hand back, she suddenly pinched him a little. He didn't know if she was teasing him.

"That's right, Nolan. You should get in now. No one can get into Kara's passenger seat other than the person she likes," Dipsy said.

When Kara heard that, she blushed immediately and glared at Dipsy. "Nobody asked for your opinion."

Then, she looked at Nolan with a frown. "Are you a man or not? Why are you hesitating so much? Just get in the car!"
