"Mr. Norwich, is it true that I have the chance to work with Norwich Group? That's great!
"I wonder what project it is. Mr. Norwich, would you mind revealing a bit so that I can get ready in advance?"
Blake stared at Megan and smiled faintly. "Easy. Easy. Ms. Turner, why are you so impatient? You know I don't hold any position in Norwich Group, so I can only tell them about your situation. If everything goes well, you'll have the chance for a collaboration.
"However, the CEO of Eastern State Norwich Group is away for now. It's such a bad timing. I'll arrange for a meeting between you two when he's back later. You guys can talk by then.
"Ms. Turner, you should thank me for giving you such a huge gift, right?"
Megan was secretly displeased when she heard that. After all, there weren't any practical benefits. It was merely a verbal promise. Yet, Blake was there to ask for something in return.
Of course, Megan was still glad that she would have a chance to work with Norwich Group.
"Mr. Norwich, I'll treat you to a meal. Don't worry. I'm sure you'll like it."
With that, Megan called Jeanne and smiled. "Jeanne, make arrangements for lunch. Put aside all the tasks this morning. We must make sure Mr. Norwich enjoys himself."
Jeanne heard that and nodded with a grin. "Okay, Ms. Turner. I'll get on it right now."
After saying that, Jeanne looked at Megan and smiled. "Ms. Turner, didn't you suspect that the Crystal of Devotion was fake?
"Since Mr. Norwich is here, why don't you ask him to check it out with you? We'll know the truth by then."
Upon hearing that, Megan grinned and shook her head. "That won't do. Mr. Norwich is here as our distinguished guest, so we'll handle our matters on our own. It isn't nice to trouble Mr. Norwich."
Blake heard her and immediately patted his chest as he said with a smile, "It's nothing. It's no trouble at all. I have nothing to do here anyway. I should follow you all and look around the Norwich mall here.
