Blake merely listened to Megan and Jeanne in silence. He hadn't paid much attention and even had ulterior intentions previously. But now, he dared not do so. He had seen what Nolan could do.
Audrey looked at Jeanne and Megan. She furrowed her brows slightly and asked, "Did you ask me to come here to talk about this? If that's the case, stop wasting your energy. I said before I wouldn't care if the jewelry was real or fake."
It was true that Audrey didn't care about the authenticity of the jewelry because she only cared about the person who gave it to her.
If it was something given by Nolan, a flower from the roadside would be more precious than a treasure worth a fortune.
However, Jeanne and Megan couldn't understand her.
"Okay. Fine. We know you don't care about it. But we still need to find out if it is real or fake, right?
"Audrey, Nolan has been lying to you. He doesn't love you at all," Jeanne said.
Seeing that Jeanne was still talking, Megan waved her hand and said, "Okay, Jeanne. Stop talking. I'll do it.
"Audrey, I know you have some hard feelings toward us. It's all because of the misunderstanding between us these years.
"But there's one thing you can't deny. We used to be good friends who could talk about anything. Even now, we still want each other to live a good life. Am I right?"
Upon hearing that, Audrey nodded and replied, "At least I've never thought of messing with your affairs or harming you."
Megan instantly smiled and nodded. "Look. I was right. You've always been the kindest and purest. Because of that, we don't want you to get hurt.
