Chapter 249 The Argument
“Amelie. Something’s up outside.”
“What is it?”
“It looks like a paparazzo was busted, and Mr. Garcia went for his camera, and they fought.”
“A paparazzo?”
“Yeah. Can’t believe all that’s happened with this crew. Don’t be upset Amelie, it’s okay. It’s only the first day. It’ll get better later.”
Amelie said no more, but still felt uneasy.
Time flew, and it was almost noon already. Yet still no sign of the male.
Amelie looked at her phone, and saw no notification in her working group. She frowned a bit.
It was strange that the first day was unlucky.
“Amelie, who is this male lead?” said Belen quietly. “Even Mr. Garcia can’t touch him. I think we’d
better watch ourselves.”
“Of course.”
“Doesn’t it seem weird to you? Richard is also the name of Evans, is he related to Mr. Evans?”
“As you said, Amelie, something does sound off. They are probably related.”
“You’re right. We’d better not jump the gun right now. I’m curious about what happens next If Richard is really related to Albert, then the show will not go well.”
The sun was setting when a noise came from outside.
Amelie finally put down her script, and opened her window to look outside.
She was surprised to see an RV roll in.
The RV caught the attention of many staff members, including Mr. Garcia.
It seemed like someone was coming, with the size of this parade.
Amelie called out to Belen, who was just cutting her fruit.
“What’s up, Amelie?”
Belen came forward.
“Look, who it is.”
Belen followed through her gaze, and saw the man was no other than the guy on the poster,
“Richard is here?” Belen mumbled. “He sure took his sweet time. You’d think it’d be some big cheese, with this big a crowd.”
“He didn’t seem to be coming in peace. But we need to be present as well. Come on, let’s head out.”
“Amelie, you sure about this? Something seemed off about him.”
Belen was worried and tried to talk her down.
