In fact, Jasmine and Logan were not in a romantic relationship because he had never declared his love for her before. Although Jasmine had hinted for him to do so, he never gave her any committal reply.
Actually, Logan wasn’t even sure what was wrong with him. Recently, he would ask Jasmine out for a meal or to watch a movie—the things that a couple would do. However, whenever Jasmine asked him what kind of relationship they were in, he could never give a definitive answer.
After some contemplation, Sophia advised, “If you really love that girl, bring her to see us someday.”
Logan unknowingly frowned and muttered, “We’ll see.”
Unable to see his expression, Sophia just thought that he was bashful, therefore she chuckled and said, “Are you trying to hide her from us? It seems that you really treasure her.”
Logan replied, “No. How should I put this… We’re still in the early stage of our relationship, so I don’t want to bring her to meet you yet lest she is terrified. We’re still trying to figure things out.”
Sophia had never seen him like this before, for the Logan she knew was a straightforward man. She then said, “Logan, what are you afraid of in this relationship? In fact, loving someone isn’t as complicated as you imagined. If you love her, then confess it to her. If she loves you back, then it’s all good. Maybe she isn’t overthinking about this as you are now. Perhaps she really loves you, and she’d like to meet your friends.”
Frustrated, Logan scratched his head and said in a perfunctory manner, “Alright. I’ll tell her about this later. I’m afraid that she’ll be terrified if I bring her to meet my friends all of a sudden. After all, she’s a shy young woman.”
