Chapter 1519 Getting Married

Although Ian’s actions had really startled Cindy, she was luckily calm enough not to withdraw her hand and she even shot a smile at him.

Aurora and Naomi were unaware of the truth behind what was happening, so the two women continued with the topic and urged both Ian and Cindy to be more open about their relationship.

Since Aurora had been in the entertainment industry before and understood how hard it was to be in such an environment, she sighed. “I know Ian very well, so I’m certain that he won’t be easily tempted by other girls. Cindy also has a calm and honest personality. If nothing goes wrong, I can see the two of you being together forever.” Then, she added, “I would really like to see you two getting married.”

As soon as her words were out, both Cindy and Ian felt a bit awkward because even they themselves had no idea how this would turn out in the end. We won’t be getting married. That’s for sure. By then, we can only go our separate ways.

After the conversation, they merely remained quiet because they knew that no matter what they said, everyone would just end up talking about them again.

They wanted to keep their relationship a secret, so they simply stopped talking.

Aurora announced that she wanted to head out for a walk after dinner.

Coincidentally, Naomi didn’t want to return to her hotel either. So, she held Cindy’s arm and said, “That’s a great idea. Come, the place is usually very lively at night. We should go out for a walk then.”
















Ian didn’t disagree because he had nothing to do back at home anyway.

Therefore, the four of them left their vehicles and they casually walked along the road in one direction.

A while later, Aurora noticed that something was wrong, so she nudged Naomi.

Naomi was also a cautious person, so she immediately understood Aurora’s intention.

She quickly released her grip on Cindy and pushed her toward Ian. “I’m sorry. It’s my fault.”

What the hell is she doing? Cindy didn’t know what Naomi was doing, but she still maintained a smile. “You’re so childish.”

Then, Naomi pretended to sigh apologetically. “I’m sorry for taking up your time these two days. Now that the two of you are finally together again, you should quickly catch up on lost time with each other. I’ll pretend not to see anything.”

After listening to what Naomi said, Cindy helplessly shook her head without saying a word.

Then, she walked over to Ian while Aurora pulled Naomi aside to distance themselves from the two of them.

Meanwhile, he had both his hands in his pockets and his hat was lowered so that no one could recognize him.

A while later, he asked, “How much do you plan to invest after your little talk with Gary?”

Cindy was still hesitant because it would be embarrassing if she only invested a little, but at the same time, she didn’t have that much money in hand to invest.

























Therefore, she answered, “Naomi told me that she wants to invest with me as well, so I’ll see how much her capital is. At the moment, the highest amount that I can invest is 150,000.”

Ian let out a long sigh before he responded, “Count me in.”

“What?” Cindy was stunned.

He repeated, “Count me in. I want to invest too.”

After blinking her eyes, she immediately smiled and cheered, “That’s great. If you can invest with us, we don’t need to worry about any embarrassment.” After that, she seemed to have breathed a sigh of relief. “I was still thinking about the method to tactfully inform Gary about the amount I plan to invest to avoid embarrassing myself in front of him. However, now that we have you in the team, there’s nothing for me to worry about.” She lifted her hand and patted his shoulder.

As Ian turned around and looked at her smug face, he lost control of himself and chuckled. “So, are you using me or Gary for your benefit?”

Cindy thought for a moment and blinked her eyes once again with a complicated expression. “It seems like I’m taking advantage of both of you. Is there anything wrong with it?”

He let out a grunt and strode forward, so she quickly caught up to him and asked, “Why are you so angry all of a sudden? I didn’t say anything wrong.”
