Gary was a totally different person; compared to Ian, he was gentle and patient and would always maintain eye contact whenever he talked to people. As such, it made him exceptionally polite.
Maybe it was because Cindy hadn’t met many people yet, but out of all the ones she met, Gary was the only one who was more approachable despite his status.
They texted for quite a while and he even analyzed the data of the investment project with her.
Even though she couldn’t understand the terms, she was elated that she was able to ask a few simple questions during his explanation.
Her questions might have seemed like it was ignorant, but Gary still answered all of it seriously.
When Cindy was done with her texts, she went to check her post on Facebook, only to realize that Ian hadn’t replied to her.
She didn’t know whether to be relieved or disappointed.
Looking at the time, she noticed that he was probably in the middle of his film shoot, which meant that the shoot probably hadn’t started when she first replied to him earlier.
Then, she put down her phone and lay on the couch while staring at the ceiling.
Cindy felt that she was losing control all because of Ian’s gentle actions yesterday. Come to think of it, he always gives me an attitude, so him being slightly gentle doesn't really mean anything.
She became more frustrated as she went on; in the end, she simply returned to her room and lay in bed after closing the curtains.
Last night, she had barely slept because all she could think of was Ian. She had initially resisted doing so, but her body almost couldn’t take it.
At last, she turned over and fell asleep.
However, it was already evening when she woke up from her slumber.
She panicked and quickly got out of bed before she ran out of her room barefooted.
When Cindy arrived at the living room, she immediately saw Ian gaming on the couch.
Upon hearing her footsteps, he turned his head and asked, “You’re awake?”
“When did you come back? Why didn’t you wake me up? I think I slept too much,” she responded.
Ian lowered his head and continued with his game. “There’s nothing happening, so why should I wake you up?”
Cindy looked at the dining table and saw some ready-made meals that he probably bought on his way home.
“I ordered some food. The ones in the pot are still hot. You should eat some,” he said while gaming.
However, she stood there, feeling a little awkward because his consideration for her was really making her confused. Despite giving off the impression of chivalry onscreen, Ian is not a gentle guy. In reality, his personality is much colder.
Upon seeing him being so gentle toward her, Cindy felt her heart racing again.
She headed to the kitchen after calming herself on the spot.
In the meantime, Ian finished his game, so he placed his phone aside and stood up.
While he stood outside the kitchen, he looked down and frowned after seeing her foot.
Since Cindy wasn’t wearing any socks, the complexions of her feet were varied as one was much redder than the other.
As she served the dishes, she turned around and saw him standing outside.
She paused for a moment before asking, “Do you want more?”
Ian declined, but he followed up with his words by saying, “Wear your shoes later.”
Cindy looked down at her feet and acknowledged his words in a slightly dull tone.
Maybe it was not her intention, but from what he heard, her voice sounded a little aggrieved.
Instantly, Ian reflected on his tone and realized that he was indeed too cold toward her, so he quickly added, “It’s because the floor is cold.”
A surprised Cindy raised her head to look at him.
At the same time, he was also feeling uncomfortable, so he didn’t dare to look her in the eye. After pausing for a while, he returned to grab his phone on the couch and went to his room.
She stood there in the kitchen and watched as he entered his room.

So what happens to Ian and Cindy. Is she/ or does she get pregnant? Do they go back to the city and Ian works with Logan? Does Aurora stay in the entertainment industry or return with Ian? Terrible ending, who cares if Aurora was drinking/drunk with colleagues. What happened with Ian and Cindy?!...
Get rid of Gary. Apparently Cindy is too dumb to figure out his motives 😡...
Why are you trying to break them up when they just got together and are a loving couple. Let them stay close and move back to their true friends, Logan, Lola, John and Sophia!...
Sure hope Ian pulls his head out of his behind and works this out with Cindy. His brother needs him at the company and neither one of them truly like the celebrity life. Sophia and Lola will love her …....
I can’t wait for John to take down the Bailey’s including Isabelle so he, Sophia, William and Matilda can live in peace. Introduce Yolanda to Richard so they are out of the picture....
Ugh, don’t break up Sophia and John… they belong together and Sophia is just stubborn for no reason...
Sophia lives John, he just needs to tell her he loves her and get on with their life and family. Too much interference from others....
Sophia is so stupid....
John needs to man up, tell his mother and Isabelle to take a flying leap and confess to Sophia that he made a horrible mistake in divorcing her. This story is taking too long and once again, the bitches are looking like they are on the right side. Awful...
