Aurora snorted, but it was so soft one could barely notice. "I should be the one protesting against them for negatively affecting my enjoyment of the movie. How would they even be bold enough to accuse me?"
She was not wrong, but Ian still didn't agree with her. "Still, you were not being polite."
Aurora pulled Cindy away and retorted, "What can be done? I wanted to see you two interacting romantically, but you didn’t. So, I can only go and watch others being in love with each other."
Hearing this, Cindy unconsciously raised her eyes to look at Ian and found that he was also looking back at her. At the same instant, the two of them looked away.
Then Ian tried to change the focus of attention. "Do you guys have anywhere else you want to go? After all, it’s still early."
Aurora scratched her chin. "I really don't have a particular place I want to go." She then turned her head to look at Cindy. "Do you have one?"
Cindy also shook her head. "No."
Then Aurora thought about it. Well, we’ve been out for quite some time. We even watched a movie. "Then let's eat and then go home."
After the movie, it was long after lunch hour, and now at this point in time, it was possible to avoid the crowd. "Okay, let's go." Ian nodded.
There were various restaurants a few floors down, so they took the elevator. Soon, Aurora pointed to a restaurant and suggested, "There are fewer people there, so let's go there."
Ian and Cindy had no objection, so the two of them lowered their hats and went into the restaurant with her. As there were not many people, the waiter came forward enthusiastically to greet them. Since there were no private rooms in this kind of restaurant in the mall, they could only find a corner to sit down.
While ordering food, Ian handed the menu to Cindy. "Check this out. What do you want to eat?"
Aurora was sitting next to Cindy with another menu in her hands, so originally, the two of them could share one. Nevertheless, Cindy raised her eyes and looked at Ian, who was staring at her with a serious expression. Thus, she hesitated and took the menu over. When she took the menu, she was a little guarded, afraid that Ian would play a trick as last time. Thus, she pulled on the menu a little harder. Fortunately, Ian did not tease her this time and directly let go of the menu.
Actually, Cindy was not hungry because prior to the movie, she had eaten instant noodles, so she was still full. Still, she glanced through the menu and ordered two dishes.
Laughing next to her, Aurora stared at the menu and commented, “Why did you order all the dishes that Ian loves to eat? You should order two dishes that you like."
Cindy was a bit shocked and hurriedly looked down at the two dishes she had ordered, and indeed they were both Ian's favorites. She didn't mean to, but she had spent a lot of time with him, plus she used to take care of his meals, so she was used to doing this.
Feeling a little embarrassed, she hurried to explain, "No, I also like these two dishes."
Smiling, Aurora nodded, her eyes still on the menu in front of her. "Yes, yes, you like whatever Ian likes; it makes perfect sense."
Hearing this, Cindy decided to shut up since she couldn't win by arguing this matter with Aurora. She raised her eyes to look at Ian, who didn't seem to want to get involved in the war of words between the two of them. Instead, his gaze fell on the menu in Cindy's hands.
Therefore, Cindy pushed the menu to him. "Well, here you go."
Ian reached out to take the menu, but at that instant, Cindy suddenly decided to grab the menu without letting go. Ian could not yank it out of her hands, and after a few seconds, he laughed out loud.
As for Cindy, she pursed her lips and kept a tense expression on before huffing and letting go of the menu. Immediately after, Ian commented, “How petty!”
Hearing this, Aurora turned her head to look at them both. "What's wrong? What kind of tricks are you two playing behind my back?"
Flipping through the menu, Ian pretended to be completely serious as he said, “What tricks? You’re thinking too much.”
At that, Aurora let out a laugh. "Don't think I won't find out what you're doing. There were so many people in the cinema just now, and they could not hide before my eagle eyes. Do you think you two are an exception?”
