The Returning EX (John and Sophia) novel Chapter 1738

Chapter 1738 Expose Her

Leah sighed a few more times before asking, “Can we have a proper conversation?”

When she said that, there was hesitance in her tone, which probably indicated fear.

Ian merely snorted in laughter. “When chances were given to you, you refused to treasure it. And now, you want to have a proper discussion with me? Who do you think you are?”

With that, he directly hung up the call. Then, he took his phone and called Logan.

Logan was still clinging to his wife, Lola, and annoying the life out of her.

Although her movement was restricted, she still lifted her feet to kick his leg. “Go to your clubhouse! I’m annoyed everytime I see you.”

He felt slightly hurt by her action and went over to hug her arm. “How could you say this? Don’t you love me anymore?”

Lola was about to make some retching noises when she saw his phone that was placed beside them ringing.

Hence, she quickly said, “Quickly pick it up! You have business now, so go ahead and be busy with it. Don’t come to annoy me here.”

Logan straightened his posture and looked at his device. “It’s from Ian. I bet it’s something urgent.”

He walked out of the room to the balcony in the living room with his phone in hand.

When the call connected, he greeted with a smile, “Hi there.”

However, Ian’s voice was slightly tense. “Logan, I need your help.”

As soon as Logan heard his voice, he knew something was wrong. “What’s wrong? Did you encounter any trouble?”

It was not really a problem, but rather a nuisance.

After a moment of hesitation, Ian grunted. “I need your help to contact the media. There’s some gossip that I need to publish under other people’s names.”

Logan understood what was being said—Ian could not be involved in this matter. Then, he immediately asked, “Does it have something to do with the Morgan Family?”

At this moment, Cindy quietly opened the door while Ian was still on the phone.

She closed the door and softly walked toward him from the back whereby she overheard him telling Logan, “I don’t care about the inheritance anyway. Since they are so stubborn, let’s make both parties suffer.”

Once Cindy arrived by his side, she froze and raised her head to look at Ian.

At this point, his expression was no longer cold or tense. He was merely upset.

Then, she asked softly, “What’s wrong? What happened?”

He still had the mood to caress her head, but he continued to speak to Logan. “When I hand the materials to you, I need you to help me to pass that to the media.”

On the other end, Logan was delighted to hear this. “Sure, no problem. I’ll wait for you. Don’t you worry about this—I promise I will carry out your intentions.”

With that, he even clucked his tongue. “It’s been a while since I have been annoyed with them. If I weren’t thinking of your relationship with the Morgan Family, I would already have exposed her and the kids. You also know that there’s nothing I can’t find out about.”

Many people had mixed around in Logan’s clubhouse, so he could obtain his information by just asking around.

Ian thought, Perhaps Logan already knew about the secrets of Leah and her son, but he didn’t choose to expose them.

He replied, “Sure. I’ll contact you later. I just need to tidy up the information first.”

With that, he hung up the phone.

Then, Cindy quickly asked again, “What’s up? What happened? Why do you look so upset?”

Instead of answering her, Ian passed Aurora’s phone instead. Since the screen was still lit, she could see the call history.

After looking at the list of latest calls for a few seconds, Cindy finally returned to her senses. “Leah? Why is she calling Mrs. Morgan? Is she picking a fight with Mrs. Morgan after quarreling with you?”

He shook his head. “She is not looking for a fight.”

Compared to the importance of a fight, Leah cared more about Bryce’s inheritance and planned to instigate Aurora to cause trouble so that the distribution of the heritance to Aurora’s side could be influenced.

However, Leah’s viewpoint of the matter was too simple because she assumed that everyone valued money as much as she did. For the sake of money, she was willing to do anything.
