The Returning EX (John and Sophia) novel Chapter 1741

Chapter 1741 Making Out

He wrapped his arm around Cindy’s waist. “What is it? Why aren’t you scared now?” He smiled.

Cindy didn’t want Aurora to bump into them making out, and Ian was being quite bold at the moment. She whispered, “We aren’t doing anything wrong. We’re just dating. I don’t mind it if anyone sees us.”

Ian typed on his phone quickly with one hand and sent the text he wrote. He then tossed his phone aside and jumped onto the bed with Cindy at hand, pinning her under him.

Cindy let out a gasp, but she quickly shut her mouth and glanced at the door, but Aurora was not in the living room. She was freshening up in the bathroom just now, but she was nowhere to be seen even after that. Perhaps she knew that Cindy and Ian were in the bedroom. “The door’s not locked. Let me go,” she whispered.

Ian stared at her for a moment and smiled. He got off of her and went to the door, but after he locked it up, he came back and pounced on her again.

Cindy was about to sit up, but before she could sit still, Ian pinned her down again.

“Now it’s locked,” he said.

Cindy blushed. “You pervert. Your mother still knows what’s going on.”

Ian rubbed her face with his hand. “I’m not the pervert here. You came and hugged me first. I couldn’t resist that.”

Cindy snorted. “So you’re saying you won’t refuse any woman who comes to hug you then?”

Ian laughed. He knew she was just teasing him, so he answered, “Nobody’s going to hug me except you. And I won’t ever give anyone else the chance to hug me.”

Cindy pouted. She seemed tense, but she was happy inside. That was how it was with lovebirds. They’d be delighted if their partner told them what they wanted to hear, even if it was fake.

Ian lowered his head and kissed her. “What is it? You seemed unhappy earlier.”

She had a lot on her mind and it did bog her down, but now, she had put it behind her. She wrapped her arms around his neck and said, “I had a lot on my mind just now, and your age is one of them. You aren’t exactly young anymore.”

Single men in their thirties were a dime a dozen in the entertainment industry.

Ian grunted. “Indeed. So when are we meeting your parents?”

Now that they were dating, meeting her parents took on a whole different meaning.

Cindy looked into his eyes. “Do you know about my hometown’s tradition? If I take you home to see my parents, it means we’ll be getting married soon.”

Ian nodded. “That’s how most places work. Taking your partner home to see your parents is the final step before marriage.” Then he said, “My mom likes you, actually.”

Ian was worried about one thing before they were actually dating. Aurora did not know that they were just a fake couple. If they broke up and Ian found himself a new girlfriend, Aurora might compare the new girl to Cindy, and that was the one thing he did not want to go through. Comparing the new girl to his ex would cause a lot of problems. Fortunately, Cindy was the one to date him in the end, so that problem was avoided.

Cindy didn’t get what Ian was trying to say. “I see. But I don’t really understand why Aurora changed her attitude so quickly.”

Aurora did not really like her at first, and she kept scoffing at Cindy. She even thought it was a waste of time to insult Cindy, so she didn’t even do that. As if she was sure that Cindy and Ian would eventually break up, Aurora did not even deign to break them up.

Cindy started chuckling and touched Ian’s ear. “I’m a likable person. Anyone who spends some time with me will fall for my charms eventually.”
