The next day, Sophia was woken up by a knock on the door. It wasn’t coming from the door outside, but from the door to the bedroom.
Thus, she drowsily opened her eyes. Before her mind cleared, she asked, “Who is it?”
Then, John replied rather speechlessly, “Who else could it be?”
She grunted in reply. “What do you want?”
In response, he said, “Can you come out for a bit? I need to use the restroom.”
However, she simply rolled over and hugged the blankets to her. “Come in then.”
After waiting by the door for a while, he finally pushed the door open and entered the bedroom. Neatly dressed in his pajamas, he stood by the door and studied her. Then, he said in a flat voice, “Please come out for a moment. I need to use the restroom. I’ll be quick.”
She replied without opening her eyes, “As long as you’re not using the bed, you can do as you please. I’m going back to sleep.”
Still, he didn’t move and just stood there motionlessly. To be honest, she knew what he wanted, but she kept her eyes closed, and her heart leaped with joy.
He waited and waited. In the end, he walked in.
She thought he was going to rush directly into the restroom. On the contrary, he came over to the bed. First, he pulled the blankets and wrapped her up in them. Then, he picked her up.
Shrieking in surprise, she opened her eyes to glare at him.
He carried her out of the bedroom in a few strides. Reaching the sofa, he unceremoniously dumped her on it. After that, he expressionlessly returned to the bedroom and locked the door behind him.
Sophia struggled a little and sat up on the sofa. Her hair was completely disheveled. As she stared at the bedroom door, she suddenly smiled.
Looks like John desperately needs to use the toilet.
She mulled over it for a bit, then hugged the blankets to her and lay back down on the sofa. Closing her eyes, she continued sleeping.
It took a long time before John came back out. He had taken the chance to wash up and brush his teeth while he was in the restroom.
When he came out, he saw that Sophia had fallen asleep on the sofa. He pondered for a moment, then returned to the room.
He saw her gastric medicine sitting on the bedside table—it was a whole bagful of them. Moreover, it looked like it had barely been touched.
Shifting his gaze away, he stood next to the window. The early morning breeze was very cool, and it blew away all the frustrations building up inside him. For some reason, a ball of impatience and restlessness had been stuck in his chest since last night.
After standing there for a while, a knock sounded from the outside. He didn’t even need to ask to know who it was.
Thus, John walked out, intending to open the door for Zack. However, when he reached the door, he turned back.
Sophia had always had a bad sleeping posture. Right now, she was hugging the blanket to her, and her nightgown had slid up over her thighs. Therefore, he walked over, pulled the blanket out of her grip, and covered her with it. After that, he checked her over and determined that it was appropriate before he opened the door for Zack.
As soon as Zack came in, he anxiously said, “Hurry up! I’ve already rented a car. Today, we’re going out sightseeing—”
When he saw Sophia, who was lying on the sofa, he paused abruptly, and his gaze wandered.
John frowned. “Wait a little longer.” Then, he went over and stood by the sofa and nudged at Sophia. “Wake up.”
Sophia was sleeping deeply. At his nudging, she groaned slightly and rolled over.
He blocked her from rolling over. “Do you want to go out sightseeing today?”

So what happens to Ian and Cindy. Is she/ or does she get pregnant? Do they go back to the city and Ian works with Logan? Does Aurora stay in the entertainment industry or return with Ian? Terrible ending, who cares if Aurora was drinking/drunk with colleagues. What happened with Ian and Cindy?!...
Get rid of Gary. Apparently Cindy is too dumb to figure out his motives 😡...
Why are you trying to break them up when they just got together and are a loving couple. Let them stay close and move back to their true friends, Logan, Lola, John and Sophia!...
Sure hope Ian pulls his head out of his behind and works this out with Cindy. His brother needs him at the company and neither one of them truly like the celebrity life. Sophia and Lola will love her …....
I can’t wait for John to take down the Bailey’s including Isabelle so he, Sophia, William and Matilda can live in peace. Introduce Yolanda to Richard so they are out of the picture....
Ugh, don’t break up Sophia and John… they belong together and Sophia is just stubborn for no reason...
Sophia lives John, he just needs to tell her he loves her and get on with their life and family. Too much interference from others....
Sophia is so stupid....
John needs to man up, tell his mother and Isabelle to take a flying leap and confess to Sophia that he made a horrible mistake in divorcing her. This story is taking too long and once again, the bitches are looking like they are on the right side. Awful...
