After she sent the text, Kevin did not reply to her again.
Blake came out of the bathroom after taking a shower. She held her phone and went back to her room. She then unlocked her phone and found that Kevin still had not replied. She was upset. She stared at her phone and complained, "Come on, can't you be a little proactive?!
"Forget it, I'll sleep now."
She rolled around on her bed with her eyes closed, unable to sleep. She would occasionally open her eyes to look at her phone.
She then started staring at the conversation with Kevin. She finally checked the time, and it was three-thirty in the morning. She could not take it anymore. She sat up and rubbed her scalp, "I'm going to go crazy. Why did I agree to be your girlfriend?!
"I'm just bringing trouble to myself!"
Blake angrily typed: [Let's break up. You find someone else to be your girlfriend!]
But before she could send the message, she received a text.
Kevin texted: [I just finished work. I'm going to sleep now.]
Blake instantly suppressed her idea of breaking up with him. She replied: [Okay, good night.]
The conversation ended.
Blake could not sleep that night.
She looked exhausted when she arrived at the office the next day. She had dark circles under her both eyes. She went to her desk. And after clocking in, she immediately lay on the desk.
