The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning (Madelyn) novel Chapter 379

Madelyn knew not to inquire about these matters. From her experience, once a man acquired money and status, they would naturally search for other women. It seemed like an ordinary matter to her because both Hayson and Zach did it. Perhaps that was why Madelyn was willing to give her heart out to someone again. It was because Ethan gave her a sense of security that she had never felt before.

Although Madelyn did not question him, that did not mean she did not care. She merely hoped that Ethan would not betray her emotionally, mentally, or physically. If Ethan did betray Madelyn one day, she would not know who to trust anymore.

After placing their things in the car, Ethan brought her to the beach, where they held hands while walking by the seaside. Ethan would occasionally smoothen Madelyn's hair. With their fingers intertwined, Madelyn looked at the people walking before them. She felt a sense of peace and tranquility that she had never felt before.

"Are you cold?" Ethan asked.

"I'm not cold," Madelyn answered. Then, Ethan buttoned up her coat and asked, "Do you like this spot?"

They then continued to walk on this never-ending pathway.

"I like it. I've never been here before, so thank you for bringing me here," Madelyn thanked Ethan.

"You've never been here before?" Ethan asked.
