The Rewritten Love: A Second Beginning (Madelyn) novel Chapter 876

Margaret took Dalton from Madelyn and said, "I'll take him upstairs for a bath."

Madelyn responded, "Sure."

She then grabbed a macaron and tasted it. It tasted different from the ones she made herself. It was a little too sweet.

She said, "Put these in the refrigerator. I'll make macarons myself tomorrow."

The maid responded, "Okay."

Zach took off his suit jacket and handed it to a maid to hang it on the coat rack in the hallway. He said, "The macarons the maid made weren't to your liking?"

Madelyn replied extremely coldly, "I'm going upstairs now."

The maids did not sense anything unusual. They felt Zach had always treated Madelyn very well. They also noticed Zach would buy the best jewelry for Madelyn.

The maids felt that way also because some time ago, when Madelyn thought Zach was always spending the whole night away from home, he actually came back in the middle of the night every day to secretly check on Madelyn. He even instructed the maids not to reveal anything to her.

The maids believed that Madelyn was treating Zach too coldly.

Zach followed Madelyn back to the master bedroom. As soon as they entered, he closed the door behind him. Madelyn was then suddenly pulled and pressed against the door by him.

She asked, "Do you want to do it now? Can't you wait for me to take a shower first?"

Zach lowered his head to look at her deeply while trying to suppress the emotions in his eyes, "Lift your head and look at me."
