Erma was inconsolable—she almost fell apart because of Zachary's baby when she had to take care of her!
It was not easy for her to get away from that place, and now, Vivian was forcing her to go back?!
"Ms. Crowe," she said, gulping. "That woman is just a nanny. Mr. Slate loves and cares most for his daughter, so you should work on his daughter instead if you want him—"
Before she could finish, Vivian shot her an icy glare.
"What?" Vivian asked with an edge in her voice. "Are you trying to tell me what to do?"
The man holding Erma tightened his grip over her neck, and Erma promptly shook her head after being strangled for a moment. "I'll go! I'll go today!"
Viivan nodded, hearing a satisfying answer. "Good!"
She gestured for the man to release Erma and brandished a debit card at Erma. "I'll pay you double once you get it done!"
After the pair were gone and only Erma was left, her brow furrowed even as she kept rubbing her neck.
The man was so strong he could snap her windpipe in half if she did not say yes!
