Raphael POV

“Be ready at three” - I say again while I put Gabe in his car seat.

The drive home was fast and calm. Gabe is a sweet little kid. He speaks English since forever because Alex’s mother is British.

That works out well for him. He won’t have to learn another language.

When we arrive at home Olivia is with Mel in the garden and Maria is playing with Mike next to them.

I have six-man guarding them and I still don’t like the idea of them being outside.

“Gabe” - Olivia says with a smile on her face.

Gabe runs towards her and wraps his little arms around her neck while he looks down at Mel.

“I missed you” - Olivia says to him

“I missed you too” - Gabe says

“All ready?” - I ask Olivia

“Yes” - she says with a smile. I know she is happy to go back to New York. And in all honesty, I am too. It’s been four months since we got here. Four months of taking care of my little family and not my businesses.

I am looking foreword to take the reigns again.

I sit on a chair next to Olivia and Gane sits on the floor playing with Mike.

“I hope they become good friends” - I say while I look at my two boys playing.

“If you don’t make them compete for your attention they will be” - Olivia says

“I would never” - I reply

“Yeah right”

“I would never make them hate each other on purpose”

“I know love, but let me ask you a question, who’s going to be your next in line?” - Olivia asks and I shake my head.

“I haven’t thought about that” - I reply

“Of course you have. I know you Raphael”

“Well, why can’t they all share?” - he asks

“And you think that’s wise?”

“One of them or all of them might not want anything to do with my company”

“Yeah right” - Olivia says looking down at Mel.

“I am not deciding their life’s for them” - I tell her.

“Good” - Olivia says - “just give them all the same attention and they will be fine” - Olivia says again

We all had lunch sitting outside beware the pool, it was hot for a fall day.

After lunch, Gabe went inside with Maria and Mike to have a little nap. Olivia put Mel down on the little bassinet we had in the living room and then sat down next to me on the sofa.

“What are you thinking?” - she asks me while her hands draw circles on my pants sending shivers down my spine.

“How lucky I am to have all of you” - I say

“Boss” - one of my man walk-in

“Yeah?” - I say turning my head to look at him.

“Joseph has been trying to contact you” - he says and I grab my phone from my pocket.

When I look at the screen I have four missed calls and three texts.

“Answer the phone”

I call Joseph and he answers before I can hear the first ring.

“Finally” - he says

“What happened?” - I ask him sitting foreword on the sofa

“There was an attack on the underground” - Joseph says

“Are you shitting me right now?” - I ask

“Yeah because I live to shit you, of course not” - joseph replies

“How many man?” - I ask

“Three, they set fire onto everything “

“Who”

“Who did this?”

“No you moron, who died” - I say

“Adam, Carlos and Andrade” - he says and I take a deep breath.

“Contact their families. You know what to do”

“Yeah”

“What have we lost?”

“Millions in guns”
