Olivia POV

It's been a few weeks since the funeral and the big day that Raphael said he loved me.

Things have been great.

I went back home and Raphael went with me to meet my family. Everyone adored him and loved how well he was treating me. He can be so charming.

My mother is totally in love with him. She says if I don’t get him to put a ring on my finger she will get him for herself.

I went to visit Anna and we rekindled our friendship. I’ve been helping her out more than I thought. I organised her baby shower and ordered all the baby furniture. I assembled everything. I’ve been loving this. John is always around us and feels great to be the three of us again.

I have been working for Raphael, he doesn’t let me have anything to do with the mafia side of the business but I am happy doing what I am doing now.

I am his personal assistant/ accountant. No money movements are made without my knowing. I managed to save him millions.

Some people would think that living together and working together would be too much but truth be told we can’t keep out hands off of each other.

This weekend he is taking me to meet his mother and his stepfather.

He explained to me his relationship with his family and his family’s thoughts about his dirty business and I understand.

I can’t wait to meet the mother of the love of my life.

I stand up from the bed and I feel so lightheaded. I end up laying down again.

“Are you okay?” - Raphael asks placing a kiss on my shoulder

“Yeah, just lightheaded, I think I had too much to drink last night” - I tell him feeling my stomach turning just at the thought of alcohol. I get out of bed and run to the bathroom.

Raphael follows me and I know better than to tell him to leave. He holds my hair back while I empty my stomach in the toilet.

“I’ll get you some water” - he says and in nod my head looking at myself in the mirror, I am extremely pale and I feel like I am going to be sick again. So I kneel in front of the toilet and I empty my stomach again.

“Hey, drink this” - Raphael says passing me the glass of water after I brushed my teeth

I take a sip and pass him the glass again. My hands are shaking and I walk back to bed. I curl up under the blankets and he sits next to me.

“We’ll stay home today” - he says caressing my hair

“You have an important meeting today”- I tell him while I still shake.

“I’ll reschedule it”

“No, he’s been trying to schedule this meeting with you for weeks now, I’ll sleep a little and I will feel better after” - I tell him with a soft smile on my face

“Are you sure? I can happily stay here with you”

“It’s fine, go” - I tell him and he plants a soft kiss on my forehead and walks to the bathroom, I can hear him turning the shower on and I allow my eyes to close.

I don’t know how long it’s been but when I open my eyes Raphael is sitting next to me with a piece of toast, he is all dressed up in his dark blue Armani suit.

“You look hot” - I tell him while I take a bite of the toast.

“Thanks, you too”

I laugh and I feel my stomach complain about the piece of toast. I put the food down on the bedside table and I lay down again.

“Get some sleep, I will call you at lunchtime to see how you’re feeling “ - Raphael says planting a kiss on my cheek

I nod my head and close my eyes.

I don’t know how long I’ve been asleep but when I wake up I have a horrible headache and my mouth is really dry.

I stand up and go to the bathroom trying to keep my balance but my head is still lightheaded. Once inside I look at myself in the mirror and I look sick, my skin looks grey and my eyes don’t have any life in them.
